Surprisingly good for a gift shop tea! Pretty sweet, and doesn’t need any kind of sweetener at all; the apricot is fairly strong but you can taste the notes of the other flavors as well. This one is the one I liked best of the Wonderland Teas, and the only one I’d buy in loose leaf — which is fortunate because as of now it’s one of the only few they sell that way.

Where do they sell it?? I can’t seem to find it ANYWHERE!!! Even on the Disney site, I can only seem to find bagged, or you can get it in the gift set with the mad hatter steeper, but I can never find it just outright for purchase. :)

Emptied my cute tin and enjoyed my last pot of this tea. A great blend that I will miss in my cupboard

Almost out of this tea. It is fruity with a bit of ginger bite. Great afternoon tea.

Fruity with Ginger…ahhh… (gets a dreamy look in her eyes)…

This is a good ginger, apricot blend. It is better than others I had tried? No. But it is housed in the cutest tin in my cupboard. And that fact alone makes me smile when I drink this tea:)

A good friend purchased this tea for me while she was on vacation.
First, let me say that the tea is most adorable tea tin I own:)
Second, the smell from the dry tea leaves was to die for, the aroma from the ginger and the apricot, oh my… I quickly brewed up a cup of this and tapped my foot for 2 minutes while it was brewing.
First sip, was like heaven in a cup, all soft and warm with tingles from the ginger.
Second sip/no make that a gulp, I am so glad I asked her to purchase this tea for me, I am in love.

Oh god I love this tea. The apricot in it is what makes this tea really stand out. It’s rich, fruity, and fabulous. The calendula lends a nice undertone that I really enjoy. A favourite. Wish I knew how to buy more.

This tea has an interesting taste. It seems slightly oversteeped, but with a bit of sweetness it really perks up. (Actually, I was alternating between bites of chocolate and sips of this, and it was exquisite.)

It’s astringent and citrusy. An interesting, pungent flavour. Much more bold that some of the other teas in Disney’s line. While it’s not my top tea in the line, I’m glad I got introduced to this.

Also, I can’t believe I only have about one steep left of this in my tin! It’s been a good friend of a tea. :)

Although it says it has a medium flavour, I find it quite strong when steeped. Definitely a tea to have with milk and sugar.

The scent of the tea is somewhat exotic to me, and the orange and bergamot really come through.

This tea is deeeelicious. It’s great with or without sweetener, smells wonderful, and tastes very happy, if that makes any sense at all. I’m not even a big fan of fruity teas, but it’s yummy, and I hope to get more very soon!

Tried this last night, with a touch of almond milk and sugar.
Average in my book. Not enough spice for my taste (though let it be known, I drink rather spicy chais so if you’re into something a bit more mild, maybe this is what you’re looking for?)
A mother of my friend gave me this tea, plus a couple others from the Disney Wonderland series, and so far I’m a little underwhelmed with the taste of the teas. But, a tea gift is a tea gift, so I keep drinking them. :)

TeaEqualsBliss is right, if you’re not a vanilla freak than this is not your tea.
Sadly, I love everything and anything connected with vanilla.
This is an okay tea—I probably won’t own it again after this box, and I can think of many other teas that I would rather drink that are FULL of vanilla.

I honestly was expecting more vanilla after reveling in the amount of blueberry in the blueberry green tea. I just got a light black tea with a hint of it. Sadsies.

Chalk me up for the deliciousness of the blueberry in this. Can’t really taste the tea, but oh well.

Generally not a big fan of chamomile, but I had a sore throat today, so…

The tea bag had a fantastic honey scent right out of the box. Once brewed, it still smelled more of honey than anything else. Lemon dominates the flavor, but that’s ok with me, since I’d rather not taste too much chamomile.

Overall, it’s decent but not amazing. I brewed it double strength (2 teabags for about 12oz of water) and I’d recommend doing it that way.

Nothing too special. The teabag has a very enticing honey smell. When brewing it goes from a light yellow to a deep amber very quickly and it’s got an overwhelming lemon taste as well. I still have mixed feelings about it.

The spice off of the tea bag would lead you to assume that it’s a very dark and powerful Chai. It was a little disappointing (like how at the zoo, you expect a lion in a lion’s den but are instead left with a kitten in a wig), but it’s got enough flavor and spice to be a mildly enjoyable black tea.

A lot of these teas in this set smell wonderful (pronounced: VAN-da-FOOL). But this made me a little sad, since the papaya didn’t transfer over into the tea and it’s very light to begin with. It felt like I was using a quater-sized teabag; the flavor just “vasn’t zehr”.

Perhaps another tea will do me in?

I liked this slightly less than the Mad Party Tea blend solely because it brews so light. Again, the fragrance is beautiful, perfect balance of mango and tea (Don’t you just hate it when there’s more than the other in a two-ingredient blend?). However, upon brewing it was much more “tea” than “mango”. I honestly felt like I had been handed the flavor profiling for a scented Pi Loh Chun. Also a tad bit drying on the finish, but very good for a bagged tea.

Excuse me, but please forgive the following tizzy:
The time has come, my little friends, to talk of other things
Of peach and leaves and loose leaf tea, of camellia and kings
And why the tea is boiling hot, and whether stems are twigs
Calloo, Callay, come run away
With the camellia and kings.

This is by far one of the better teas in the set. It’s got the wonderful fruity aroma of peaches and flowers with a base of black tea very similar to a Ceylon. The tea’s body is very light, and citrus flavors leave a crisp feeling on the tongue without leaving your tongue high-and-dry. It goes down relatively smooth (I really think it’s the quality of the water that effects this tea more than anything). Other than it having the tendency to get bitter rather quickly, it’s an excellent bagged tea and does not disappoint

So, a strong black tea and a lemon tea walk into a bar. They go to a hotel, have a great night and bask in each other’s glory. The lemon tea decides he wants to marry the black tea even though everyone knows that bergamot and black tea are actually soulmates. They have a baby together. However, they didn’t know that they were in fact, brother and sister. This tea is that mutated baby.

“It can’t be that bad” you say. Oh, but it is!

It’s got a strong lemon taste; and no, i don’t mean bergamot. This is black tea if it was garnished with a 10-day-old lemon with a zester. The brew is so pathetically bland, underbodied and unbalanced that I might have to say that the great Disney powers that be blended this with the intention of pissing people off.

Bleh. Considering a toss out to the bin.

Meghann M

Whoa, sorry to hear it was a horrible tea, I love how you describe the mutation though!

It went down like this Steepsterites:
Oh! They have a Jasmine Green tea in this set, since the Mad Party Tea was serious enough of a blend to merit a Steepster mention, then it MUST be good.

Jasmine Green tea entails the visualizations of tiny fragrant jasmine blossoms floating into a cup of perfect golden jade liquid, complete with monks bowing in the background and an effervescent hum of prayer. Little did I know that I was wrong. Oh so very wrong.

I was filled with doubt, fear, and most importantly, I doubted my $20+ purchase of tea blended by the hands of corporate Disney. My biggest question still left unanswered is why a tea labeled “Jasmine Green Tea” would at all taste like cauliflower?

I received from Mad Tea Party Blend teabags for my birthday, and tried my first cup today (with milk). A lovely, fruity cup of tea that is interesting with an attempt at complexity, but the flavour feels a bit confused. The apricot is front and center, but there seems to be some notes jostling for attention. It’s almost cloying in its fragrance. Still, a delightful, happy cup of tea for a nice afternoon treat.
