I guess I forgot to log this one the first time I had it. I DO remember it being not that great hot…but today I made a LARGE container of ICED.

This is really good iced. It’s true black tea but with a tangy fruity currant flavor that I was hoping for…but the tangy-taste wasn’t over the top! It seemed to be just right! I am glad I made a large container of this!

This is a decent cup of black tea, nothing bad to say about this stuff. Just a good drinker from a bag. I was surprised because I really disliked the Twinings Orange Pekoe Ceylon tea and English Breakfast by Original Ceylon Tea Co.

It’s a pretty standard-tasting Earl Grey – the bergamot is a bit on the strong side, but other than that nothing really stands out.

I bought this for 2 reasons…I needed some black teas as a back up AND I was looking for cheap. I honestly don’t know how I feel about this one. It has the floral/bergamot taste but it definitely tastes different than earl grey. Maybe it’s the fast that it tastes very FAKE that is the turn off for me. It’s not terrible but I certainly won’t be buying it again and it will probably last a while in my stash because I don’t think I will be drinking it often. But at least I can choke down the cup.

This is a nice bold breakfast tea for a tea bag. A very nice morning tea when your in a hurry. Its brisk, bold, tasty with no bitterness or astringency. Very inexpensive also.

This is one of the teas I found on my tea hunting expedition yesterday. I found this at Big Lots for $2 which relates to .04 a cup. This is an ok breakfast blend. It brews up amber in the cup and has a slight sweetness on the tip of the tongue. I’m drinking it w/o milk or sugar. It is all Ceylon tea and has an astringent quality to the tea. It is packed 50 to a tin w/o strings. I like their black organic blend much better.
I just had a second cup of this tea steeping only 4 min. and the tea tasted less astringent and made a much better cup for breakfast.

Had this on Saturday after noon – it’s a cheap tea but fairly bold for bagged. It’s a good one to have on hand regardless. Oddly enough – Hubby LOVES this tea…it is among his fave and he’s not much of a tea drinker. I told him that it was some of the cheapest you could buy and he didn’t seem to care…lol…

I really like this tea. Its organic which is a plus and I can buy it cheap at Walmart, another plus. Its really good without milk and only 1/2 tsp raw cane sugar. I will be buying more of this tea. Now if I could only find their Earl Grey I would be happy.

Strong black tea – not bad for everyday, but not my favorite Ceylon.

Found this in my stash today…thought I would visit it again. Plain Black Tea but good and strong for a bagged.
