First I just want to say “Thank You” to Naomi of Joy’s Teaspoon for sending me this sample. I truly appreciate the opportunity.
I found this to be interesting. It definately tastes creamy with a slight hint of coffee. It does give you a sense of Italian Latte. I will also say there are a lot of ingredients in this but I can’t tell them apart except for maybe the yogurt and coffee. I didn’t really taste chocolate, brittle, or caramel, it may be that the combination created another flavor making it hard to tell the different flavors apart. Nevertheless,it is good but maybe just a bit to complex for me.

I generally dislike flavored teas. However, this is one of the few exceptions—-I like this tea quite a bit.

The cinnamon flavor, while being very flavorful, is still subtle enough not to be cloying or overwhelming.

I would describe this as a very pleasant & soothing tea.

It tastes exactly like a spiced pear (spice = cinnamon). What else can I say? Yum

I have no idea why I have not logged this tea earlier. It is a main go to for me. It is a clean refreshing taste and a delicious sip! I like this tea best when it is hot, hot, hot. I do not think it gets bitter but the flavors are balanced the best when the tea is hot. To keep it this way I drink it out of a cermic mug with a lid to keep the steam in.

This tea is so delicious. I had some tea noobs over for a visit and they just loved it. The pear flavor is subtle but it is the perfect pear, not too sweet and not too tart! In the midwest it is well past good pear season so this is a truly exceptional treat! I also really like the cinnamon taste with black tea, a never fail combination in my book! So yummy!

Earl Greys are like…well…opinions. (And I’m not gonna say what opinions are like.) Point is, everyone has one, but not everyone has one that works. Some are too malty, some are too sour, and some just don’t work on either front. This is the most balanced Earl I have tried to date. It’s more citrus than sour, the black tea base never embitters and rarely feels dry, and the key word here is “balance”. On the tightrope of taste, this nails the bottle with a well-placed lightning bolt. I’ve had a LOT of Earl Greys, and I thought I was Earl Grey’d out ’til I had this. Glad to be proven palate-ly wrong.

Holy sweet Margie Mother of Buddha, you can tell what you’re getting into by smell alone. It smells like lemon pie. I LOVE lemon pie. I also love honeybush and rooibos blended together. Add lemon and you have a happy me. I could go into the subtleties of this blend, but there are none, by golly. It’s loud and it’s proud. Sweet without needing sugar, citrusy without overdoing it. It’s herbal infused perfection.

I did. I did. And got the review to prove it.

Margie Mother of Buddha? I am going to have to get that onto the site! Glad you enjoyed it!

And I included “Jebus” in the pending Teaviews write-up. ;-)

5 inches of snow or so today and it is time to decorate a bit…I reached for one of the newest additions to my tea cupboard, Winter Wonderland. The anise is strong in this one but the balance of orange and a super smooth black tea is just awesome! It smells like winter….in heaven! I do think it helps to measure the water temp on this one, not just by feel.

This is really great tasting Sencha and the Cherry is delightful! I have had Cherry flavored Greens before and many other companies over do it on their flavoring! This is JUST RIGHT! I may just say this is my FAVORITE Japanese Cherry to date! Nicely flavored green! YUM!

Geoffrey Norman

Ah! I have this too. Must taste! Tomorrow, maybe. Tomorrow…

I just checked and I do not have this one…I hope santa delivers this year!

Immediately surprised by the spiciness. Sumatra and I were not previously acquainted. :) It’s got a bit of pepperiness to it, but the Assam still keeps it as smooth and malty as I like it.

Definitely a good wake-up blend.

Nichole made me drink this today…she virtually twisted my arm via gchat! LOL

This is really FAB…Very wonderous! I have to increase to a 100. I don’t have many 100’s but I can’t deny the score any longer

(previously a 98)

Nichole/CuppaGeek

HAHAHA! Nice!! I did!!

I’m jealous! I need to order more of this!

I ordered 6 oz last night after trying a sample. I love anything that’s delicious, cost efficient AND re-steepable!

Okay…let me tell you about this morphing aroma here, folks! It’s truly an adventure!

DRY – prior to infusing – this smells like Lemon Pie…not meringue but a crusty pie and I can also smells a little cream or vanilla happening here. Now…as it infuses it smells a lot like Lemon Pledge. BUT…after the infusion is complete…it smells like a yummy sugary lemon – almost like lemon drop candy – and cream!

And that’s just the aroma adventure!!! Now…on to the taste…

It’s very smooth and velvety. It’s a nice creamy lemon flavor – very unique and tasty! I really like this! VERY Creamy! YUM! My fave one from Joy’s Teaspoon so far!

Geoffrey Norman

Oooo, I have some of this. I plan on trying it tonight. It smelled like lemon meringue.

Jaime

Adding to shopping list!! Nom!

Sarah Ruthven

I serve this one to friends often because everyone loves it. I think it is the creaminess you mentioned, a really unique flavor!

KeenTeaThyme

Definitely adding to shopping list based on your description alone! :D Sounds delish!

It has that stereotypical Darjeeling taste with a slightly sweeter ending. It has a slight mossy aroma with a mysterious hint of chewiness to the smell as well. This is good. Nice and strong, too!

Earl Grey’s usually don’t excite me because EVERYONE and their brother has one…BUT…this is one quite good! Here is what I found notable about this specific EG!!!

It’s a STRONG Black Tea…I love that about it!

The floral is stronger than the bergamot/citrus type flavors which I am ‘ok’ with.

BUT…my favorite part is the STRONG Black Tea! Thumbs up for that! Nice tea, Joy!!!
