I was really excited to try out this tea. The description made it sound great and the smell when you opened the tin was phenomenal. But after following the directions word for word, it simply did not meet expectations. It smells great after and during steeping, but the first sip starts with apple tones and finishes with bitterness. It may have just been that I shouldn’t have followed the directions word for word and I will experiment more before I put this into the pile to be exchanged.

As a hot indulgence, try a splash of milk and/or a couple drops of honey or brown sugar – you’ll find this will bring out a whole different character to the tea.
Organically Delicious: This green Jasmine tea from China is blended with an apple flavor, giving it a fresh, sweet taste undercut by just a trace of toasted caramel. Whereas milk is definitely not advised, sugar and honey are optional on this one as it’s already naturally sweet. While it has less caffeine than its black sister, it contains just enough to get a nice spat of chat rolling.

While too subtle for milk, a touch of honey or sugar can make it a delightful stand-alone or an appropriate paring for light fare. Its soothing qualities and low caffeine content combine to brew up a nice, warm cup of relaxation.
