Mmm, good afternoon tea. Mixed the leaves in with leftover leaves from last night’s Ti Kwan Yin (Dragon Pearl Whole Teas). Hopefully that should smooth out the flavour.

I just wish that this tea was more lasting, in terms of the leaves. It is good for one large pot, if I leave it a while to steep, but steeping a second large pot is impossible.

How strange, halfway through the first travel mug for today of this tea and it has a bit of an aftertaste like pipe tobacco. It is not bad, just strange, and something I have never tasted in this tea before.

Second travel mug is much better. I don’t even have the leaves steeping still, and yet somehow it tastes more like vanilla bean than the first mug did.
