I am so glad that I have found and purchased this tea. This tea has such an amazing cinnamon flavor. It reminds me of cinnamon candy (like fireball) but in liquid form.

I often drink this tea, as is. I find that it has it’s own level of sweetness and I personally rather not mess with the amazing flavor that this tea has to offer.

If you love cinnamon, I highly recommend this tea.

Strong, bold, well spiced. For those looking for a ‘heavy’ tea that can take milk and sugar no problem. Easy morning tea. The multi-spice taste is very pronounced, which may attract some and turn off others.

Like strong tea?

Rostov’s is, first and foremost, a coffee roaster. However, many coffee drinkers switch to tea, so you can bet that any coffee roaster is going to have some robust tea! Richmond Blend is just that… a strongly spiced, but smooth black tea that is assertive, but lovely with milk.

I was first introduced to Richmond Blend (and Rostov’s) in February 2014, when my new boyfriend discovered that I was a bit of a tea addict. Since he is the unabashed “south of the Tea line” sweet-tea drinker, I sweetened this spicy blend with some sugar and served it for breakfast. I have also sneaked it into a few batches of iced tea, allowing one part Richmond Blend to three parts Lipton tea bags. It livened the tea up.

I think the cloves and orange peel make this intense for many casual tea drinkers. But if you enjoy Chai (which I have used this tea for, with lovely results!), or a bracing, spiced black tea, you’d enjoy this blend.

Thank you for this one a while back, Stephanie. This one is such a mystery as I swear it looks like mostly mint leaves in the blend and barely any black tea at all, but then the brew is so dark! It’s very tasty. Plenty of mint, hints of chocolate, and enough black tea to keep me happy. I love a good mint chocolate tea, and this is certainly one of them. Two teaspoons for a delicious cup!

I don’t know much about this tea, as I got it as a bonus sample in a swap with…someone. It’s been kicking around in the bottom of my sample box for AGES and I finally brewed it up yesterday. It appeared to be a black tea/green tea blend and I chose to follow my black tea steeping parameters. It came out smooth and minty with just a hint of dark chocolate flavor in the aftertaste. Quite delicious! Thank you, mystery benefactor. :)

One of you guys needs to let me know if you sent this one to me. I’m totally blanking (and yes, I do blame that on Vicodin xD).
I think it was like an extra in the swap too…And I think I remember the conversation with the person to, but I just can’t think of who is was with. Oy.
So sorry for my bad memory!
But this tea was actually pretty good! Unlike S’mores, apparently Mint Chocolate Chip is easy to get right! This really would go great with Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream too. :O
Bummer I don’t have any in the house right now D: But next time!
And thank you to whoever sent me this tea! So sorry I can’t remember!

i ordered a cup while i waited for my sister to collect me from the coffee shop. (rostov’s tea generally stinks, but it’s hard to mess up peppermint. ya know.)

I hate when that happens.

this is the tea i bought after i threw out my previous cup of tea that was so puke awful.

it was not a good cup, but at least i did not have to dump it out.

warning to the wise: don’t ever drink tea at Rostov’s, or order a cup from a place that serves Rostov’s, in Richmond.

You know, the name says Rostov’s Coffee & Tea, but all I ever see from them is coffee. Never occurred to me to look for the tea. Thanks for the warning!

one of the first loose leaf teas i ever bought. (this post is actually from 11 months ago). and it’s amazing i even kept drinking tea to be honest. rostov’s is the worst. there’s never been a single tea of theirs i liked. some i’ve even thrown out. if you ever come to Richmond please heed my warning!
