This is the best black tea chai I’ve ever tasted. It’s evident in the dry tea that the freshest, highest-quality ingredients have been used. The photo in the listing does not do this tea justice. The spices, of which there are plenty, have been chopped to just the right size to blend in, and the black tea is full-bodied and bold. The blend has significant presence of ginger and black pepper, which is just how I like my chai. Both the fine black tea and the spices shone through the creaminess and sweetness after the addition of soy milk and agave nectar. Thank you, PeteG and Sawadee Tea House, for the deepest-flavored, most stimulating black chai I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking.

In between a Russian Caravan, and some Jasmine Oolong I decided to give my palate a dessert.

I have been steeping all day…yah gotta luv when what the seller says is taken as ’gospel’and purchased. I listened to her and WoW! This tea is great! Poured my first cup early this afternoon and I have been pouring three more times with wonderful demonstrations of layers of sweetness and joy – contentment. Yeh, that’s it!

Long in the mouth with a subtle bouquet reminiscent of a spring garden after a light early morning shower. Suprisingly this white T is slightly astingent with body that is dressed in silk weaving a home for eternity in my heart.

It is not what I think necessarily but, how I feel every moment I consume the liquour so golden red with an equisite velvet, earthy-sweetness of manderin that reminds me to breath in and then out, and then in….

It sounds very Zen. :)

Somewhat milder than a Russian Caravan with a burst of pine flavour at first tasting…leaving me with a subtle smoky sweetness.

Isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?
