Apricot Tea Decaf from Scripture Tea
60

Backlogging. 8 days ago. Monday late night.

The February Backlog: From the 1st to today.

I needed a less caffeinated tea for late night online time in bed at my parent’s. I found two bags of this when I was looking. (They do not have pretty much any non-caffiene/less caffeine options.) I wasn’t expecting this tea to be very good as I haven’t had good experiences with decaffeinated bagged black teas so far. Mostly, they’ve just tasted like whatever flavor they are supposed to be, overpoweringly so, and zero black tea taste.

This was a pleasantly good apricot, not overly strong, with a bit of black tea taste in the background. I would readily drink it again late at night and not in the ‘well, this is all I have so I suppose it will have to do’ way. I’m rating it a 60 (bagged tea nice range 50-60).

The sweet taste of this tea is bittered by its attempts to save my everlasting soul. I don’t need the words of God, I am a god!! However, p good tea.

I got a box of this from a friend. Looking online, I can’t find anything about the tea on its website either, so it looks like it’s been discontinued.

I don’t know if it’s the tea or if it’s my tastebuds that are shot, but I can’t taste this. Same with the Raspberry Royale from earlier – I just can’t taste it. It’s the first time I’ve had bagged tea in a month or two.

It smells great – very fruity, a little tart. But I feel as though I’m drinking scented water, even after the bag’s been in for 30+ minutes.

Sad!
