One teabag was used.

I feel that the lavender isn’t the best pairing with the oolong. The oolong tea seems to be of good quality and the lavender note is strong. The oolong has somewhat of a wheat-y mineral note.

While It is Not 3:15 pm I decided to have some of this one today, It’s a lazy Sunday and i just felt like an easy instant milk tea :)
I’m not sure how the Tea Community here on Steepster feels about these instant powdered teas like this but I don’t mind the instant Milk Teas I think they are pretty tasty.

This one is made with coffee so instead of just being a powder it comes in a small tea bag with coffee grains added to that instant milk tea powder. I assumed that coffee need to steep just a bit so I leave the bag of this one in the for 3 minutes 15 seconds just because lol.

The taste is like coffee with milk and sugar almost like one of those coffee nips candies but the taste of a bold roasty tea is also present. It is kinda sweet without being too sweet and not bitter at all like some coffee drinks can be.

Lance and I both really enjoy this one from time to time just because it tastes really good, I’m not sure how healthy the instant drinks are but we like it for the taste and I think thats just fine :)

I have lots of these lttle instand milk teas packets of all different types, we pick some up at our local asian mart every time we visit, they are not very expensive tho they aren’t exactly cheap either, they are worth it.

This one is just creamy sweet coffee with a roasty toasty tea, simple and tasty, not really much else to say about it.

I was a bit skeptical about this tea at first. The mix of Tea and coffee sounded weird. But I have to say this was quite nice! It tasty roasty with a good mix of cream and sugar. Definitely a must try for coffee drinkers.

I would buy this again.

Thanks to Hapatite for the sample. I’m really digging these teas. I like the creamy texture. I may pick some if these up on Amazon. I liked the original flavor best so far.

They have these at Asian groceries (I’ve only had luck with Chinese ones like Great Wall or Kam Sam), but I always stock up!

Oh reeeeallly? I’ll bet I could find them here at our Asia Mall. They have the best Asian Grocery around… it’s actually more like a supermarket. I love it there.

I will look when I go. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks to hapatite for this sample! I really liked this one! I made the original for my BF this AM, and the roasted for me. I liked the original a little better, but both are good.

If you’re into milky sweet tea, this would be an excellent portable tea. It’s smooth and pleasant.

I don’t follow the steeping instructions on the bag — I usually do 10-12oz since the tea is quite concentrated.

I never even heard of these bags before. Thanks for sharing!

I’m not the biggest fan of rose in tea, but I’m absolutely in love with this. My newest tea cupboard staple.

I don’t taste any rose, but I do taste the fruit… whatever fruit it may be. This isn’t a powdered mix, but rather a teabag with milk powder inside. I’m not sure if the fruit flavor comes from the milk powder or the tea. It is a little weak even if steeped for 5 minutes, so either use a small cup or two teabags. I like to add condensed milk or whole milk to make it richer.

A surprisingly fast sipdown (107). I feel like I just bought this box a little while ago because I was missing California and access to good milk tea. And then it somehow turned into having a travel mug full of this one ready to go in the fridge constantly. Even though I was drinking it so frequently, I was actually shocked when I realized I was down to my last two. Anyway, sometimes I feel like this can be a little too sweet because it leaves that kind of sticky taste in my mouth afterwards, but I love it anyway. I’ll have to resist the temptation to get more at the Asian supermarket soon.

Okay, I know I’ve been on a tea buying hiatus, but as soon as I found a decent boba place in Boston, I moved all the way across the river from it. These sticky humid days have really made me crave a nice cold milk tea, so I caved and bought a box of these at an Asian supermarket. It’s not a perfect substitute for my beloved California boba, but this milk tea will do the trick well enough. I will say, though, that the black tea base can be overwhelmed by the added sweeteners, so if you’re looking for a tea that really stands up for itself, this is not your cuppa. If you love milk tea/boba/bubble tea/etc, this tea will do just fine when you’re in a boba desert.

A sad sipdown. I finished off the last of these tea bags today. I depended on it for my quick fix when I couldn’t get good boba, but now it’s all gone. I received this box from a friend, so I don’t know where to get it and I’m feeling kinda too lazy to hunt it down. Maybe when it gets colder I will be more motivated to look. Farewell for now, I enjoyed it while it lasted.

Ok, so I lowered my rating of this tea just a little because the sweetener in the tea leaves a bit of a sticky sugary aftertaste in my mouth (like after you’ve had some really sweet chocolate). This being said, it really hit the spot. I tried yet another milk tea/boba place in Boston that disappointed, so I had to remedy the situation today with this stand-in. Some people may think it’s too sweet, but my sweet tooth really enjoyed it on this cold, windy day.

My friends know that it’s no secret that I love myself milk tea/boba. When I moved from an area where I could find at least 3 places to get boba within one block to an area where I can barely find good boba in the city, I was crushed. One of my generous friends sent me a little milk tea/boba care package that included this tea to satisfy my cravings. And I gotta say, I love this tea! Definitely very sweet and creamy, not bitter at all. I love it hot, I love it cold. It’s not as strong as other milk teas that I’ve had, but I’m pretty happy with it!

PS I posted the pic for this tea and it somehow came out sideways.. Sorry about that, not sure how to fix it.
