Steeps, The Urban Teahouse

I’ve been employeed at Steeps/Oolong tea houses in Calgary for over 4 years. The Silver Cloud that we sell comes from a distributer over seas in Germany. They flavour it with what they call “Prickly Pear”. Personally the aroma of the leafs gives off a soft lemon and floral smell. On the toungue it has a delicate taste and is quite light. I do taste the pear flavour once steeped properly – I find this tea to be light and refreshing. If anyone wants to order go to www.oolonghouse.com and i’ll ship you some!

I have a bag of this, loose, and make a pot fairly regularly. It’s mild, a bit sweet, gentle – simple – like drinking water :-) I drink it hot or cold, or in between…
