A well-bodied traditional Yunnan. The missing 4th tradition after ceylon, darjeeling and assam.

A traditional smooth assam. Nice but unremarkable.

A triumphant blend of black and green. I think it’s actually better than the Arabian Days.

Pleasing hybrid of black and green. Not very strong.

[AKA Dragon Well] ~ Very difficult to prepare (@ 158) so I can’t be sure it came out right, light and fluffy but very little to distinguish it, but what do you want for seaweed?

I only bought enough for one sample, but it was a great experience. It smells wonderful, with a decent pan-fried taste.

Fascinating, but unfortunately I had a bad reaction to all that mint.

AKA Natsukaori. It has a beautiful aroma!

A wonderful flavor and body for a green.

A magnificent fervor. The taste and texture are reminiscent of a more refined Oolong.

Scratch and Sniff Strawberry, the taste is faintly of strawberry but more importantly it has a woody texture.

About as subtle as they come. I steeped it both cool and hot and got nothing. No taste or smell whatsoever.

Picked this up from Tin Roof Teas yesterday. On my second round now. :)
Very tasty! I’ve been meaning to try more oolong so when I had the chance to stop by Tin Roof Teas I got a bunch. This was the only flavored one I got.
This brews a nice burnt orange and smells of orange but it doesn’t cover up the oolong scent. I think this is probably a Formosa base, but I’ve only had one to compare to. Very lovely orange/citrus taste. The first cup had more, the second has some but it’s lighter. The oolong base is woodsy and smooth. Yum yum.

Note: First steeping at 2 min, second at 3 min. @ 212F
