This is my current favorite tea, and the first one I’ve been really excited about in a while. This is a very fragrant tea, the warm vanilla notes are just yummy. This tea actually tastes “creamy” to me and has been absolutely perfect on these cold winter mornings.
My only complaint would be that it becomes “stale” very quickly. The “creme” is actually some kind of dried cream/milk that’s added to the tea and after a week, two at the most, that creaminess fades away. The vanilla notes stay around and it’s is still a good tea, but it’s not nearly as good as it is when it’s very fresh.

I found this tea to be too tart for me to enjoy. Even adding tablespoons and tablespoons of sugar didn’t seem to make this tea any more palatable for me. There wasn’t much of a kiwi taste although the hibiscus really came through.
I tried this tea twice and unfortunately I don’t think I will be making more in the future.
Preparation
If you like your green tea to smell and taste like rancid butter, you may enjoy this. Otherwise, skip it. I bought this because it sounded interesting; I like green tea lattes and found the idea of a milky green tea without actual milk intriguing. From the moment I opened the bag, though, I knew this wasn’t for me. The sour milk/rancid butter odor did not morph into anything creamy and delicious, and the taste was just as repugnant. Brewing it for different intervals, at different temperatures didn’t make any difference in the nasty spoiled milk taste. I wound up throwing this out, and I rarely do that with any tea, but this was just dreadful.
I had this yesterday evening. This is one of my favorite blooming teas since it is flavorful and the flower was pretty and delicate. The bloom isn’t very complex, but there was a pink-red plume that sprouted from it. I steeped it 3 minutes at a time and had 3 steepings from it. Each time, the flavor was light and refreshing. The liquor was a light honey yellow color. I love the hint of sweet strawberry. There was no bitterness or astringency to it. I am glad I steeped it for 3 minutes at a time. I usually steep it all wrong. Anyhow, this is a good flowering tea.

This smells so delicious! A light sweet strawberry flavor and scent. It wasn’t tart at all, and the display was beautiful. The only thing is that it fell apart a little in the water. I put water in first then the tea.
This was the party favor I chose for my best friend’s bridal shower. It was too bad my shipment online didn’t arrive yet, even though I ordered it from China in October… This one is too expensive… cheaper to get it direct from China. Oh well! I can’t wait til that shipment comes in anyway… plus I’m getting another order free since that one didn’t come in.
