No matter how many teas I try, this is Old Reliable. I love the spicy medley and the POW flavor palette. This reminds me of fall, even though I drink it year round. I’m ready for autumn to get here – goodbye humidity, bad hair days, and weather-induced migraines! Please?

gmathis

Everybody needs an Old Reliable. Or six.

KeenTeaThyme

@gmathis – agreed! :)

I can just tell it’s gonna be one of those days…so I’m starting out right, with a cup of this abfab chai. Please see other tasting notes; this is a fave! :)

Another cuppa this fave. It’s great in the fall, but I’m enjoying it more and more iced. Absolutely delightful. Spicy and sexy in a way…

Still one of my faves no matter how often I brew. I let it steep well over 30 minutes (had a last minute meeting) and the result? A spicy, flavorful cuppa.

Deliciousness. I need this today. Mixes well with Bohemian Rhapsody, which is on my Spotify right now. :)

Bonnie

Wow!That’s some long name!

Beginning my day with this cuppa. It’s been another fun-filled week of migraines. I dragged my butt in today but I’m ready to pass out. Thank goodness for hearty teas like this one! Please see other notes; this is a fave…even if it is from the evil empire, Teavana. ;)

Bonnie

I’m sorry you have migraines! I suffer from frequent migraines also. Caffeine helps me but I must stay indoors due to light sensitivity all the time like a mushroom. Funny but true! Chai spice if there is Chili may not be best for migraine. Look up migraines diet.

KeenTeaThyme

Thanks for the help! I find chai isn’t an issue, a;though some spicy foods are (very sad – love my Tex-Mex). Red Rooibos tea is…yet green rooibos isn’t… I hate missing work because of migraines. Gets very old!

I’m sorry you suffer as well – but perhaps we migraine sufferers can unite in the misery!

My Plan B tea. My “Old Reliable” tea. It’s starting to look all gray and gross outside so I need a pick-me-up (especially since the day isn’t even half over yet). I just love this spicy cuppa. Made myself a larger cup. Delish!

I really do love this tea. I love letting it steep for the length of the cup so the final sips are bold, chai-in-your-face.

I forgot to turn off my auto-delivery so I ended up with a bunch of tea from Teavana. I’ll be reselling them – SEALED! – on my site this week, so stay tuned. Teavana doesn’t let you return tea, even if it’s sealed, which is another strike against them.

A similar thing happened with Adagio and they were very nice about it. Just wish this chai was available at Adagio…then I wouldn’t have to bother with the Evil Empire. ;)

I am not happy about being awake this AM. And I’m not happy about running late. At least this little number was waiting for me at work. I love this chai. Can’t get enough. May be the only tea I drink today…else I’ll speak in full sentences.

This is easily one of my favorite teas, and normally a tea of the AM. But I’ve got a migraine so I want it now and I’m enjoying it. So there. ;)

This blend of tea and spices is one of the greatest blends out there, hands down. Sorry to all Teavana-Haters (and often I am one myself) but this chai just does it for me. :)

Cheryl

Love this too… feel better!

SimpliciTEA

I hope you made it though that migraine. Those can be the worst. And your, ‘So there,’ made me laugh! Sometimes when I’m not feeling well, I admit to my wife, “I want what I want and I want it NOW!”. We both get a good laugh out of it. I have mixed feelings about Teavana too, but I certainly acknowledge that they do have at least a few beautiful looking and good tasting teas.

KeenTeaThyme

Thanks for the well wishes! :) You both are sweeties…and it’s perfectly fine to be demanding when you are sick.

If you know of me on Steepster, you know this is my go-to cuppa. Just got a fresh batch in so I’m lovin’ it even more. And I really need it today too…else I will pull out my hair Patty Williams-style (that’s a Young and Restless reference, for anyone who doesn’t know…)

Please see other notes. This is one of my faves and one I have not yet been able to replicate!

This is still a fave of mine, no matter how many other chais I try. There is something about this spicy, hearty flavor.

It’s lifting my spirit on this gray day…

Are you surprised I’m drinking this? Don’t you know me at all?! ;) I love this blend! No matter how many chais I try and enjoy, I always come back to this one. It’s expensive, but worth it. Love a nice, spicy cuppa. I’m enjoying with my lunch today (a cold-cut sub from Subway). but great anytime.

ScottTeaMan

By the title, this sounded like a confusing blend…I mean two chais blended to one. I like pepper in my chai & liked the description. I don’t know if I’d buy it though, unless I buy one of their cups. I’m not happy with their marketing either.

Just using up the rest of this… so I can buy more…

Please see other notes. This is a cupboard staple! :)

I can’t say this enough, I love, love, love this tea! (Even though I hate, hate, hate the price.)

This tea is perfect for the fall. I always have it on hand, and whenever I drink it, I’m reminded of all the wonder things associated with autumn: leaves, brisk air, cardis & cords, pumpkin, spices.

In fact, I once wrote a poem about autumn – and I won an award for it! :)

This tea would be award-winning, imo. I do dislike the high price tag, but since you can resteep the leaves at least once, I’ll try not to complain too much…

Meghann M

One of my favorites as well. Thanks for reminding me it is time to get more!

Had to hit this after the Incident with French Vanilla Assam… Much better.

My staple. It’s my first day back at work after being out for surgery and there is too much BS going on… thank goodness for this spicy wonder… and my painkillers. (Please see other tasting notes.)

IllBeMother221B

Hope you are feeling better! As I said in one of my comments on an earlier logging of yours I got a sample of this with an order today…if the BS continues here today I might dig into it!

gmathis

Do you sweeten it? Friend gave me some along with some rock sugar, but I’m drinking mine straight up this morning.

KeenTeaThyme

@Wifey_Woman: thank you, I am!! I definitely recommend it – it’s a great antidote to BS. :)
@gmathis: I usually do sweeten with Splenda, although I have brewed up a whole pot with rock sugar and enjoyed it. But today it was straight up, like you. :) YUM! I love all the spices!

teawing

Welcome back! I hope you are on the road to recovery!

KeenTeaThyme

@teawing – thanks, and yes, I am! :)

I’m not much of a chai lover, but this one is definitely nice.

I’m back to basics this (rough) Thursday morning. I can tell this will be a long day so this is the first of many caffeinated cuppas!

One difference – this cup was originally steeped with boiling hot water, and I mean HOT to the extreme! I was boiling water and was called away from my desk. Luckily my heater has an automatic shut-off point. (A coworker thought it would whistle like a kettle. Too bad! That would be cool.) This cup is much spicier and tastier than I can remember before, and I love the change in flavor. I can taste the nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, and others individually, all adding up to one of the best versions I’ve had. This is a great way to get going this morning!

Two cups of this started my morning off just right.

I mean, for Tuesday, that is. :)

(Please see other notes; this is a fave.)

It’s as gross, rainy day here in Maryland so I’m starting my day with something that makes me happy – this unbelievably-awesome, nothing-comparable chai blend! Please see other tasting notes; this is a fave. :)

Ellen

I just came back to school from MD.. at least its not snowing like it is here.

KeenTeaThyme

True! I am anti-snow, especially in March. I always tell the snow to wrap things up by February. Orders of a displaced So.Californian who can only take so much cold…

IllBeMother221B

Believe it or not this is currently a free sample with any order at Teavana’s website. So I now have more of this great blend…not much but enough for two steeps I think.

I’m just not into trying new things this morning, even though I have plenty of options! (Please see other tasting notes. This is my most often-consumed tea!)

OK, after this cuppa, I’ll try one of the samples from Meghann, QuiltGuppy or Jude. Promise!

In the meantime, if you haven’t tried this tea and would like to, Teavana is giving away a free 2 oz sample of the blend to try – for all online orders of any amount. :)
