Taken with Milk and Sugar.
Nice well blended flavored black tea that really does taste like a dessert. Nice change from Plain black tea.

drank Mango Green by Teavana

A very light, delicious tea. It’s delicate and will overcook easily – brew for a very short time in lightly steaming water, or it will bitter.

Sweet, not overly fruity. The mango doesn’t overpower the green at all.

Just tried a tea I haven’t had in 3 months, and I’m finding it a lot better than the last time I drank it. I still won’t buy it again, but it’s definitely tastier than I originally thought it was. This time I can taste the pu-erh in the tea a lot more strongly (because I know what I’m tasting for, I think).

This tea didn’t really strike me as special. The strawberry smells great, but I didn’t find much of the flavor carry over to the drinking. It’s not bad, just not one of my favorites.

I braved the mall today (silly idea with the post-holiday crowds) and stocked up on one of my favorites – their Strawberry Lemonade Herbal tea. I love this tea – very light but very flavorful. And I splurged and got their perfect tea maker, so I’ve been playing with it ever since I got home, making this tea. Bliss…

I love this tea! It brews up a very light color, and can handle multiple steepings. It’s a very light flavor, more lemon than strawberry, and it is my current favorite evening tea.

I have been fond of Mate Vana by itself for a while now, but I find it to be better in blends: specifically, is my favorite blend: Honeybush Vanilla and Mate Vana, brew with some sugar and you have an excellent hot or cold tea.

Update:

Drinking the Honeybush Vanilla and Mate Vana again. I find that this tea is always a good blend to come back to. It does not need sugar, but sugar definitely helps to bring it to the next level.

Very good but needs milk. Steep the 1 teaspoon in about 8 ounces of water. Add in 2 ounces of whole milk to really bring out the woodsy flavors. It has a “watery” taste. Not as in watered down or bland, literally just a watery taste. It’s odd but good.

Sencha. Only two steeps. I don’t know if it can go more because I usually stop drinking it halfway through the second cup. I’d been enjoying the grassy taste more lately, but still can’t drink too much of it.

Drinking this Sencha again sooner rather than later. I am not finding myself resteeping this tea when I have it. Perhaps I need to make sure I finish my cup while it is hotter, I don’t like this tea much as it cools.

Backlogging. Last Saturday afternoon.

I’m not too fond of this Sencha and don’t drink it often. But I found myself wanting an unflavored sencha and thought ‘go drink it then and use some of it up’. So I did. Grassy and better than I remembered. Perhaps I will try it again sooner.

I brewed a small pot of Sencha to drink while catching up on stuff at my desk. It started out a bit bitter but as my tongue got used to it, it softened nicely into a decently yum cup. This tea has always left a little tea leaf residue in the tea but there seems to be noticeably more in this pot.
