mmmmm love this one. Breakfast teas before we take the dog for an adventure so that she’ll sleep while we go out for a biking adventure this afternoon haha.
love this one, and super glad i picked up more of this. I may need to get a little more to keep me filled over the course of the year though. Malty deliciousness.
Another sipdown from this morning! Let me tell you after a little over a week of waking up and being able to draw back the curtains and see the ocean and mountains…today was an adjustment…hello brick wall of the other apartment building…so nice to see you. sorry we’ve missed you..NOT. lol I love this one from teavivre and will be ordering more once i get into a better position to stock up again. Malty, chocolatey goodness.
I feel like i’ve been drinking this tea forever. I need to learn to open my larger quantity of teas sooner so that i have more time to drink them up. lol Not that i HAD to finish this one, but it’s part of my “drink older teas” goal. Aiming to get through all teas up to and including December by the end of June. Downside? Black friday sales hahahahaha. I quite like this tea, though some times it feels like this one has a personality. Some days it’s not as delicious as i remember it being…and other days it makes me fall in love with it all over again. Still a great staple to have in my cupboard and a fantastic offering from Teavivre! I recommend checking it out if you’re a fan of black teas :)
soooooooooooo close to a sipdown on this one…to the point where i was contemplating making a really stong travel mug today…but i refrained. haha. I need to try to get a few in tonight because my damn fine teas arrived, but this was not meant to be one of them…but there will be a few incoming now that i’m home and relaxing… wheee!
oh my poor cupboard. I tried to make it go on a diet and now it’s fighting back…. 125 was almost in my grasp…and this it was pulled away. So i’m giving up for April…but in May, i’ll be back with a vengenance lol for now, the sample sipdowns continue! this is neither, but it is one of my oldest teas and a delicious, delicious friday tea!

more teas from yesterday! This one gets better and better every time i have it. While it’s totally nothing like LB from verdant, i feel like if i could no longer have LB…this one might be a suitable substitute (note the use of the word substitute, not replacement). Bumping the rating a little because this malty chocolatey tea has been great to drink recently as i work on getting through my bag of this (it’s one of my oldest teas because i always forget about it!)

Another delicious tea that i took out with me today. Early morning start today to make it in to the spa with nicole for a girls day out. Mani/Pedis, lunch, movie and then dinner with my other half, her husband and the little one. Followed by a short game before coming home late. I was glad i made the effort in the morning to brew up two travel mugs to bring with me :) I needed it by the afternoon!

it was nice…nicole hasn’t had girl time or even a day outside the house in the past 5 months or so…so we spoiled her.

it was nice…though i’m betting all of a day before my nail polish starts chipping lol i usually only ever get pedicures to mostly get rid of all the ick factor on my feet :) E was like..oh hey! your feet aren’t ripping my legs now lol gee thanks…love you too :P (followed by a comment about how he should just send me to get one every month…)
Ahahhaha. I had a pedicure once and I liked it because I like foot rubs by people who know what they’re doing, but I feel like it was totally wasted bc the person just wanted to talk to me the whole time and I just wanted to relax. :P Next time I’ll go where they don’t speak english. Ha.
But that’s really cool you able to get her out and doing fun things.
Cavocorax, I only go to Chinese places. They smile, very friendly and only talk to each other. As long as I don’t understand it doesn’t bother me.
For awhile my daughters & I had an annual pedicure tradition going on. Their birthdays are March 14th & 28, exactly 2 weeks apart. We’d go for breakfast, then starbucks latte’s, then pedi’s, then lunch! It was great, but we haven’t been able to get our schedules together for the last couple of years.
Add to that, my grandaughter’s birthday is right in between their’s, on the 21st. We’re having her party today, & I’m thinking we need to really try to get the pedi thing going again, & include her in it.
I always get the same nail polish, “I am not a Waitress”, hahaha, & Sil, it never lasts very long :(
But the foot soak & rub is a fun luxury! Nothing like a day out with the girls!
That sounds like so much fun! I hope you guys manage to make it happen again, even if you’re a few weeks later than the birthdays!
Cavo – I’m happy to do a girls day out with you at the spa. There are a few places here we can go where they will leave us alone and that aren’t too expensive :)

Looooove pedis. And if I can pair it with a massage…heaven. My pedis always last forever since I am not allowed to really be without shoes since my foot injury. But I don’t even bother with manicures – I can’t not be in the kitchen or doing something that ruins those in less than a day at most.
nicole – yeah i don’t bother with manicure’s most of the time but this was just for my friend. i’ve already managed to chip part of it hahaha
A sacrificial spa day for a friend. That’s tough. :)
yeah…the things i do..
SOMETIMES….though it doesn’t happen often with me…i forget that i have a particular tea in my cupboard. This one sort of got lost (in plain sight) and i hadn’t had it in a while…so the other day i put it in a REALLY obviously place to remember to drink it more often. And today, i was glad for it :) i still really like the taste of this one. happy i picked some up in a sale from teavivre a while back.
also..since i’m guessing there will be little to no tea drinking this evening having just had uh..a VERY large glass of coke and toasted caramel rye…

mmmmmm I opened my sample of this from teavivre, forgetting of course that i have 50g from my last order. Oh well, at least i’ve managed to sipdown the little sample pack haha. I really enjoy drinking this one from teavivre. It’s malty with notes of cocoa without being like my laoshan black. It’s also unassuming so until i take my first sip, i always forget how much i enjoy drinking this one :)
it’s been far too long since i had this tea. I pulled it out this morning to kick start the day. My other half has the entire weekend off – he hasnt even had a single weekend day off since vacation in October. So we’re taking advantage. This was a wonderful start to the morning, which ended up being almost my only cup of tea today because we were out for longer than expected.
i may need to have this again tomorrow as it really was a fantastic cup this morning.
Hmmmm interesting, I keep getting samples of this with orders, and I keep tossing them into swap packages. I really should try this one of these days….
i would! haha it’s one of those teas that i forget about, don’t think i enjoy as much as others and then have a great cup of it!
