Doing this one from memory, also, since my computer was being a PITA this weekend.

Not tasty. The mint was simultaneously watery and overbearing and the other flavours weren’t able to hold their own at all. The tea base came across as more bitter than anything else and it wasn’t all that fun to finish out the cup.

I was in the mood for something light and lemony…and this tea delivered impressively well. It’s softly lemon flavoured and has a little bit of a buttery pastry hint that really comes to the forefront with the addition of a little sugar.

It’s a light and comforting use of the green rooibos base that blends so very well with the flavourings. I’m a big fan of lemon teas, so this is just right for me. :)

Another sample I’m trying to see if I happen to like it or not.

Which is more not than like, although it grew on me.

I will say that dry this smells heavenly, and the liquor actually also smells delicious. Unfortunately, this tea didn’t do much for me on its own. I eventually added some non-dairy creamer and a touch of sugar, and it helped make it something I liked. I think my problem is the cinnamon. I like cinnamon, but it was just a little too much. Cinnamon and chocolate is something that I really just don’t like together. Others may really like this, but it wasn’t for me. I’ll probably put the rest of this sample into one of the traveling tea boxes I’m in, because I’m sure it’s in someone’s flavor wheelhouse.

Suziqzer

I’m finicky when it comes to chocolate and cinnamon together, although I’m coming around to it more and more. The only time I won’t tolerate it for sure is in the kind of chocolate cake my mom used to make when I was growing up. Some people put cinnamon in it to make it better… No thanks! It’s pure rich chocolate that needs no addition of spice.

I had this one again yesterday afternoon. I didn’t like the first infusion as much as I remember liking it before, but then the other infusions after that were all spectacular. I think last time I had this, I did the first infusion for 4 minutes, and this time I did it for 3. This is really creamy and floral. After the first infusion, the floral fades out some, but the creamy definitely shines through. I really enjoyed it. I decided to use my coupon for 25% off and free shipping to order myself some more of this tea.

I actually really enjoyed this tea this morning. I will be honest, I wasn’t expecting to, but I decided to take a chance on some more samples I have from the Tea Company because I got a coupon for 25% off plus free shipping and I’m very glad that I did.

This is a pretty nice oolong. It’s the right amount of creamy and the right amount of floral. Of course, while I was enjoying this one I was working, and I can’t remember too much about it. It was just nice and natural and I like that it’s unflavored. I need to try more unflavored oolongs.

It smells sort of like lemon pie. It doesn’t seem to taste like lemon pie at all. Not impressed. Doesn’t taste bad, just not at all like I wanted it to taste.

Disappointing. It has very little flavor of any kind. I’ll try a longer steep next time to see if that helps. Right now, vaguely minty, vaguely floral, not much of anything.
