This is a superb Oolong – rich with delicious flavors! I can taste notes of sweet, creamy butter, fruit and spice that are interwoven with a lovely floral note.

I’m off to write a full-length review of this beautiful tea – watch for it on SororiTea Sisters!

Another great oolong from Tula! Very clean, smooth, velvety, and almost celery-like in taste. Juicy! I really like this!

2nd infusion…
smells sweeter, more buttery, more floral, more vegetal…very nice!
tastes more buttery and more vegetal than the first infusion. Very velvety! I think I like the 2nd infusion even better than the first, too!

Dry Aroma is a Floral-Buttery scent which is unique and makes me curious! It smells great! After infusing the aroma reminds me of Florida Floral Bouquets and buttered veggies with a bit or stereotypical oolong aroma to it. I like this scent, too!

The taste is a nice, solid, creamy-sweet taste with slight floral and fruity notes! Quite the cuppa! This is my first infusion and I am already craving more!

These are rolled very tight and screaming multiple infusions, indeed! Stay tuned!!

I was thrilled to find Zealong available in Canada through Tula Teas at the recent Victoria Tea Festival after hearing great things this New Zealand grown oolong.
I have always been hesitant to try oolongs grown outside of their original growing locations, but the Zealong folks have done a brilliant job.

I easily steeped this one 6 times, about a minute each time, just under the boil. As the name suggests, a very clean, sweet and pure aroma coming from the cup, and the beautiful clear yellow liquor was quite striking.
Beautiful silky mouthfeel, sweet and soft floral buttery flavours.
Looking forward to trying the roasted version soon!

I admit it! I’m a sucker for that charcoal taste! Whatever’s done to this tea gives a great, almost refreshing burnt taste to it after the fruitiness is done to start with. I had to go back for seconds to try this one again.
