Never having Lady Grey before, when i saw this at Safeway this morning shopping i couldn’t resist pulling it off the shelf with a big grin on my face! Loads of people have been telling me to try this tea so why not let today be the day!

It smells great! Not as string as an Early Grey would, but it is a plesant light aroma. The flavor reflects the aroma very well. The citrus notes in this tea are very nice and subtle and not overpowering as could be the case with some Earl Greys. This is a nice breakfast tea to have with some toast and jam, yum!

Tried loose variety today. Steeped side-by-side with Community black tea bags. Should try a few more cups, but the Twinings English Breakfast is brighter, yet slightly more bitter than the Community black tea bags.

I got this from my god mother as a Christmas present two years ago and haven’t opened it until now since I have sooo much tea lol
I am not too big of a fan of peppermint (I prefer spearmint) But this tea is very relaxing and has a very nice light peppermint flavor, with a sweet after taste.
I think I might have to buy more of this for work since doing so now I am relaxed at my desk XD

Wanted to try something different as far as herbals go. This is my first honeybush tea. I like it. Reminds me a lot of “friendship” tea or russian tea as previously mentioned by fcmonroe. It’s very much like an adult version of tang. Throw a little milk in there and you have yourself a creamsicle. Yum!

This has to be my second favorite tea in the world. I love the taste and how well it mixes with honey or milk.

I love peppermint – even though it is an herb and not a tea. I try everyone I can get my hands on. This one has to be one of the more mild ones I’ve had. But very soothing and tantalizing to the taste buds. Makes me smile

Note: This is a review for the bagged version.

I assumed this would be relatively the same as English Breakfast tea, but it is actually a bit stronger, though the tastes are similar. It says on the box that it is robust, and I’d say that’s pretty accurate. ;-)

I last logged this tea around this time two years ago. Must be my time of the year for Lady Grey. I’ve made it a lot of times with non-dairy creamer and sugar, but a few times without creamer. I kind of prefer it without the creamer, which is not how I usually take any black tea. The creamer really dulls the bergamot and citrus flavors. So I suppose if you find those flavors too strong, put some cream in. :)

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite teas. It might even surpass Bigelow’s spiced chai at the very top of my list. It was particularly refreshing today.

This is like Earl Grey but with citrus. =) It’s good with milk, but you can taste the flavors better without milk. One of my new favorite teas. Definitely my favorite of the classic teas.

Surprisingly, I don’t like this with creamer in it. Maybe it’s because my creamer is a milk derivative, but it covers up the flavor a little too much. It’s nice and rich on its own. =)

I really enjoyed this blend. When I went to the shop, I knew they had loose Twinings tea and was hoping to find Lady Grey – but that was sold out. So, on a whim, I snatched up Prince of Wales because it was on the lighter side. (I’m still easing my way into strong black teas.)

I found this to be so yummy! I added a bit of rock sugar to sweeten things up a bit and really, really enjoyed this. I could see drinking this one on a very regular basis.

Received this in a swap from a friend in New Zealand. A breakfast tea with a hint of bergamot! It was a very full, very smooth cuppa, minus the bitterness I sometimes taste in other breakfast teas. Even the second cup from the pot, which had been steeping longer, didn’t taste bitter. Tried it with a bit of sweetener, and then with milk, and it was a true morning delight. I’ll be enjoying this tea a lot.

Nothing jumps out except for the brand name.

Tasted pretty acidic and dry, but that would be your normal run of the mill breakfast blend.
