What an interesting green tea, it’s like none i’ve ever had. The liquor is thicker than usual, and the color is darker as well. It doesn’t taste vegetal,or grassy at all, but instead has an earthy aspect, that reminds me of some black teas maybe? I can’t place the taste, but it is really full and very flavorful. Unfortunately, I have very little of this tea left!

Very light starchy flavor. Like boiled potatoes. Super delicate.

Green beans upon cooldown.

It’s okay just way too light for me.

The moment the swimming gossamer surface of this heavenly tea did touch my heathen parchèd lips, I felt an instant sense of airy jubilation accompanied by the distinctive tang which is solely felt through sampling that which is of the Gods, with a touch of Goodwill towards All Mankind mixed in for good measure. I was immediately transported back to my childhood days of simple joy and naïveté in the lush primeval paradise that is the Garden of England, or for the ignorant among us here, Kent.

Such a sensorial pleasure is this tea that I dare not drink it in public for fear of losing what dignity that has been afforded to me by Providence.

Drinking this to keep me warm as I stay up late working on homework. I like this tea very much, I’ve had it a few times, and I’m pleased with how long the leaves last.

Favorite tea! Got here fast, and it’s me and my roomates choice lately now that it’s cold here in the dorms

Maybe i’ve been brewing this one wrong (although i’ve been following the printed instructions), but this to me is undoubtedly the weakest tea in the Utopian lineup. There’s an overpowering smoke note to this tea, and a set of flavors i can’t even fully identify (Stone fruit, perhaps?) buried within it. But, there’s no balance to the flavor of this tea, it simply tastes off.

Maybe I got a bad bag? Hard to say

This is an unusual lighter oolong, I’m surprised how profoundly different it is from the other oolong (Ti Kuan Yin) sold by utopian. It’s a bit earthier in contrast to the Ti Kuan Yin, with a complex astringency to it. This could be off putting to newer tea drinkers, but there’s a distinct quality to this oolong that I would encourage tea drinkers to try.

This is a perfectly delicious Ti Kuan Yin. I first purchased a bag in june and found it a bit unrefined, but a few months of aging have allowed the flavors of this tea to mellow. There’s a lot of floral depth and just a hint of astringency to this oolong, for anyone looking to refresh their stocks of Ti Kuan Yin, this is a perfectly acceptable choice

This is a very unusual green tea, Utopian is right to give people a forewarning as i’ve never had anything quite like it. I would say the best way to describe the flavor of this tea is stone soup. It’s a rich earthy broth with strong mineral flavors to it. There’s a bit of smoke, but through a proper brewing temp (I recommend 165 as opposed to utopian’s 180), the flavor is mild and in balance (I don’t typically like smokey teas)

Personally, i find it really hearty and satisfying, b

Not really impressed. The leaves looked terrible, and the flavour put off was not really that great.

What a wonderful tea, reasonably light sending a wave of flavors over the palette. A real treat.

I got this tea along with the Great Buddha’s Palm and there is something extra special about this tea. The aroma of the dry leaves gives a hint of creaminess, almost like a more subtle milk oolong. When brewed though, the flavors meld together and create a wonderful roundness through every steeping. It is a very hydrating tea that both relaxes and makes you more focused. This is a wonderful tea that I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice oolong.

An excellent daily drinking tea, as each time you steep this tea it has a way of surprising you, and has you coming back for more. It held up to 3 steeps while improving each time. It was steeped for up to 5 minutes without becoming bitter and the scent of the leaves (wet or dry) was intoxicating. A very good tea for an even better price.

This is the free tea I got from Utopian tea in their buy one get one free deal, and I just gave it a try for the first time. It smells floral and buttery, and tastes sweet. I like!
