I think I’ve tried this one before, but I hadn’t logged it. Having some more this morning (yes, I know it’s not morning, but it is for me).
I am a little surprised by the other tasting notes for this tea, because I can taste the peaches and cream. They meld together quite nicely. I don’t taste the black tea quite as much as I do the peaches and cream… it’s a very nice tea though… perhaps one of my favorites from the mystery boxes I purchased.
Thanks to LiberTEAs for this one! I have had this one for a little while and forgot that I never tried it…Oops! This one exceeded my expectations! This is great hot or cold! There are equal parts Orange, Spice, and Black Tea! Nicely done, Frank!
Warm me up TEA CUP! Brrrrrr!
Having a cup of this now…check out my previous notes!

Malty AND Smoky with a caramel/fruit end of the sip…sending the rest to MandyB
The fruity is more in the end of the sip and kind of surprisingly-so at first I wasn’t sure about the taste of today’s attempt bit I think I like it after it has had a little time to cool at room temp.
I thought I already logged this but apparently I didn’t and I am backlogging it but…I did enjoy it last week…I remember it being Apricoty but a little toned down. I’m thinking because of the brandied aspect. Whereas I don’t think it really tasted like brandy, persay, it did taste like a mixed drink of sorts…not bad at all!
Okay…this time around my experiences were a tad different. Don’t get me wrong I like this flavor BUT…
I’m getting a very minty taste! Yes…MINTY! Like…it should be called Pineapple-Mint Flavored Black!
Just had to mention. Still yummy but different than my first go-around with this tea.
Medium Orange-Brown in color.
I usually infuse my teas for the longer suggested lengths because I like them strong…but..I have found with this attempt at a shorter length I think I like this one better at about 3 mins – no more really. It seems to be smoother and tastier.
I just tried the Ultimate Citrus Spice tea from 52Teas the other day, and I have to say that I actually like this one better!
The flavor is sweeter and smoother. Nice with a dollop of honey… It would be very good without the sweetener too, but, I like the way orange and honey taste together. Maybe I’ll have to locate the honey flavored black and combine it with this!
LiberTEAS sent me a sample of this, thanks to her I get to try a whole smorgasbord of teas! I’m not too crazy about this one. It’s ok, but I think that something should be stronger, either the lemon or the ginger, wouldn’t matter to me which one. I would drink this again if offered (and I will finish the sample) but I wouldn’t purchase.

Finishing off the last that I have of this – because it was a Russian Caravan, I sent most of this one to TeaEqualsBliss.
Although I must say that this is one of the better Russian Caravan teas that I’ve tried… the smokiness is mild. I don’t know if it’s because of the fruity flavors or what… but, other Russian Caravan teas that I’ve encountered (and I’ve only encountered a few) have been entirely too smoky for my liking. But this one is alright.
This is a very good Keemun. Very bold. Malty! Undertones of spice and fruit. And a distant smoky note that adds a sort of caramel sweet note to cut through a little bit of the edge of it.
Since I’m up rather early this morning and not going to go back to bed… I need THIS!
I’ve eager to try this iced but my first encounter was a hot cup tonight. It’s was alright! It was more cran than cherry but the cran wasn’t bitter and the cherry wasn’t really that of a BING Cherry but you could still tell it was some sort of cherry. Neither flavor over powered the black tea taste – which is good. HOT I think this is ‘ok’ but I have higher hopes for the ICED version.
This is a surprisingly tasty blend. I was hesitant to try it (alright, I was downright apprehensive) because, well, when I think “Russian Caravan” I think Lapsang Souchong, and when I think Lapsang Souchong, I think TOO SMOKY for me.
But this isn’t. Yes, there is a smoky taste to this tea, but it does not overpower the cup. It is not too much. The fruit flavor with the smoky qualities of the Russian Caravan create a very unusual yet delicious tea.
The fruity taste offers a bit of sweetness (which I’ve enhanced with a drizzle of honey) and somehow, it offers a strange yet complementary taste to the smoky flavor. I like this very much.
Had 24oz. w/ my favorite home-made panini:
chicken patty
a slice of breaded eggplant
goat cheese w/ crushed red pepper
a slice of roasted red pepper
a slice of tomato
Miracle Whip on one side of the French bread, Fat Free Italian dressing on the other.
In spite of their being no “cream”… and virtually no peach… it’s a pretty good iced tea that pairs very well.
Made a gallon of this cold and drank 32oz of it… raw leaf is slightly peach scented, but also has floral/perfumey notes… tastes a bit like peaches… spicifically peach COBBLER. Way more bakey than I expected it to be (since I didn’t expect it to be bakey at all). Still floral and perfumey… not creamy… hmmm… not gonna rate it til I can figure it out.
Backlogging a cup before sending to a friend…this is a slightly flavored black tea and it’s a nice cuppa!
Dang it’s cold! A hot bath didn’t even help. Drank an 8oz cuppa of this hot. WOW cinnamon is definitely there… a bit of orange, wish it was stronger. Not sure I like cinnamon only spice teas… Chais are more my thing. Rating goes up for accuracy though.
Backlogging…see previous notes
Last 40oz of my gallon. It’s actually cold in the house today- high only of 72 predicted today. The 4 cups of hot tea I have planned for today will go really good!
Average in every way. Not bad but not stellar. :)
