Organic Hojicha from Mighty Leaf Tea
80

On first sip I thought I wouldn’t enjoy this cuppa. I was wrong. I get a strong connection with sunflower seeds (the unsalted version) when drinking this and it reminds me of summers as a child. Very satisfying.

Earl Greyer from The Republic of Tea
53

I decided to try a cup of this tonight when I stopped at Panera and was very surprised by how sweet it was. Normally this may have been a good thing, but I wasn’t in the mood tonight.

Tropical Green Tea from Revolution Tea
48

Found this tea today at a Pilot gas station. The leaves in the pyramid bag were beautiful- but the flavor was uneventful for me. I picked out the light mint the most. My experience could be influenced by the fact that I drank it out of a styrofoam cup with little to no regard for water temperature.

Jasmine Pearls from The Tao of Tea
75

This is my first experience with Jasmine and I have been experimenting with greens. I am pleasantly surprised by the nice flavor of Jasmine. Very enjoyable experience. Steeped x3 with good results.

Jasmine Pearls from The Tao of Tea

Ginger Lemon Grass (Fair Trade Certified) from The Republic of Tea
25

Tasted the lemon grass most prominently. Only purchased a single bag, won’t purchase the tin.

Dream by the Fire from The Republic of Tea

I was very excited to try this sample, but the cinnamon was too much for me. Didn’t finish the cup.

Tropic of Strawberry from Celestial Seasonings
1

Yuck! First brew and probably over steeped, but the overwhelming flavor I got was artificial banana. It reminded me of the flavoring of liquid medicines when I was a child. I will probably try it again, sigh, as I cannot give up on it so easily. Maybe if steeped for less time the flavor will mimic something enjoyable.

Rooibos from Cameron's
50

Okay I’m new to rooibos. This is the second I have tried, the first being ROT-they taste very similar to me. I enjoy it but it does not leave me with the passion to have more.

Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride from Celestial Seasonings
64

This is my new favorite vanilla tea-very smooth and sweet. Would work to replace a treat- too bad I ate my brownie before I took my first sip. Probably oversteeped but still yummy.

Tea of Good Tidings from The Republic of Tea
82

Very enjoyable-I’m definately a full leaf girl now. Lots of flavor in this tea-it is comforting- Spice is the flavor that stands out. Very smooth, hard to overbrew.

Wild Blueberry (Fair Trade Certified) from The Republic of Tea
80

I enjoyed the experience this tea provided. Was not significantly better than celestial seasonings True Blueberry tea though.

Vanilla Spice from Ashby's of London
50

Nothing special about this tea. I bought it in a holiday pack and was excited to try it but did not find a very exciting flavor. Not bad, not good.

Paradise Tropical Tea from Paradise Tropical Tea
100

Just got a new batch of this in the mail today in Decaf blend. Come in a nice small 6 cup bag that I brewed in my coffee maker and poured over ice. I thought this would add a coffee flavor but surprisingly did not. Love the convenience and yumminess of this tea.

Cranberry Blood Orange (Fair Trade Certified) from The Republic of Tea
80
Hibiscus Ginger from The Tao of Tea
50

Very pretty color. Strong floral flavor-cannot pick up the ginger. Good x 3 steeps. Each sip becomes more enjoyable.

Berryblossom White from Tazo
25

2nd try and my conclusion is that this tea bores me.

Good Hope Vanilla (Red) from The Republic of Tea
68

I enjoyed this tonight at a wonderful cafe. I was looking forward to trying it as I love vanilla. It is the first red tea I have tasted and I loved the color. The experience was good, but nothing remarkable. I actually couldn’t pick out the vanilla which I found surprising after reading some of the previous tasting notes.

Berryblossom White from Tazo
25

Steeped this one too long and it got bitter. Will try again. First impression is that there isn’t much flavor at all, though the aroma is very pleasing. Thinking maybe white tea just is not for me.

Decaf Chocolate Hazelnut from Stash Tea Company
50
Coconut Mango Oolong from Stash Tea Company
85

Yum. Mild flavor that seems to come out when Iced. I just wish I could have enjoyed it on a beach somewhere instead of at work out of a styrofoam cup.

Paradise Tropical Tea from Paradise Tropical Tea

I enjoyed my first cup of this tea a couple weeks ago at a restaurant and had to beg the manager to tell me what kind of tea it was. I’m sure he thought I was crazy but I needed to know because this wasn’t the kind of place you could just go and get a cup daily. He finally got the point that the situation was life or death and sold me two pitcher size bags. I quickly got online and ordered myself some. I have not found the best way to brew this yet as you must make pitcher size batches at a time and I do not have an iced tea maker. However this one is great. I recommend decaf because you’ll want to drink large amounts if you love it as I do.

Cinnamon Plum from Ashby's of London
34

I bought this in a holiday pack and was unpleasantly surprised with my first brew. Tasted like water with a hint of cinnamon. No plum notes noted. Will try again with boiling water.

Pineapple Ginger from The Republic of Tea
90

I got this tea about three hours ago and have already enjoyed three cups. I can taste the ginger most prominently, but it is a very mild ginger flavor. As the tea cools, the pineapple becomes more prominent, I bet it would be great iced! I usually toss out the end of a cup when the tea gets chilled but I enjoyed this one all the way to the end. I would recommend this to anyone!

I have always enjoyed tea; mint mostly. I was always afraid of fruit teas until recently. I am still turned of by the stronger flavors and dislike peach with a passion. However, I am finding every day that there are great fruit teas out there, and that I know very little about tea. I am excited to try new teas but get bummed when I buy a new type and dislike it. I am intrigued by people adding cream and sugar to their tea.
