I am quickly loving this tea. It smells absolutely wonderful and I love that green teas steep so fast. Immediatly, after pouring the water over the tea it turns a purplish – blackish – redish color and it worried me because green teas are usually light. After steeping it smells wonderful and the taste is just as great. I’m not sure what all I’m tasting but I’ve almost finished 2 oz of this tea already. Yum.

Brandice gave me this tea to try because she is a fan of Gunpowder. I had not purchased any of this tea because quite frankly the name scared me. When I hear someone mention the name all I can think of is my grandpa in his gunroom with his gunpowder and that is not something I would ever want to drink. That being said, I also saw that so many people have said it smells of cows or tobacco and tastes smokey. From my new tea experiences, I am finding that if I don’t like the smell of a tea I tend not to like the taste so that also scared me and I’ve been warned of teas tasting like campfires or “smokey” as some called it which also is something I don’t like.

Now on to what I thought about the tea. When I opened the bag of tea, I thought it smelled like a good quality tea, not cow dung. When I brewed the tea, I still thought it smelled fresh and inviting. When I drank the tea I was pleasantly surprised with the way the tea tasted in my mouth and slid down my throat. I’m still new to this tea thing, but I can say in my opinion it doesn’t smell like pooh and it doesn’t taste like a campfire.

I really enjoyed this tea and look forward to having another glass. This is the first green tea I have tried.

This tea is still one of my favorites. I really like all the spices in this tea. I haven’t found a lot of oolong’s that I like yet. I think this is my first. I will be a regular drinker of this tea.

This tea is okay. I’m gonna see if some friends like it. After having Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice this tasted like water to me. Maybe I should have tried this one first… Hmmm

I had this tea lastnight and I thought it was okay. I will drink it again but I do like the Irish breakfast alot better.

I got talked into buying this when I was at Teavana the other day. I must say I was a little skeptical because htis is a fruity tea and not a cinnamon tea, but I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I really like the raspberry and lemon in this tea and I think the fruit mix is very good. I’ve already made a few pots of this tea and will definately be making more. I need to find some fruit teas I like that are not Mate though so that I am not drinking so much caffeine.

I got this tea because it came recommended from a friend and I have to say WOW. I love this tea. I think it tastes like a cinnamon candy and it is so wonderful. I have been drinking this tea all weekend and I think it is just wonderful. I’m thinking this might be becoming my new favorite.

I’ve had this tea twice now and each time I steeped the “balls” twice. I love this tea. In my opinion, its a good quality black tea that adds a hint of something, maybe the cocoa? All I know is when I finish this sample I will definately be buying a larger quantity of it and am sharing it with some friends. To see if they feel the same way about the tea as I do.

I had this tea the other day just delayed writing my note because I was so disappointed by this tea. Anyone who knows me knows I have a major sweet tooth and love chocolate. This tea has chocolate and caramel two sweets I love that I have quit eating with my new diet. I was so excited when I found a tea that described one of my favorite desserts. Well it did not disappoint me in the fact that it tasted like I was drinking chocolate, but I have decided that chocolate is not a good drink. I want it to melt in my mouth not be tea. I will give this tea one more try, but I don’t think my opinion of it will change.

Having this tea tonight before going to bed instead of my traditional Foxtrot. I’m coming to notice some strong trends in the types of tea I like and they are: cinnamon, chai, or a good black tea (like dragon pearls). So I was pretty excited to find a rooibos chai so I could still have chai and cinnamon before going to bed instead of loading myself up on caffeine. I am loving this tea. Thanks again to Brandice for introducing me into tea. I am officially hooked on tea now. Today I even got another friend of mine to start trying some tea and she got some tea from Teavana. I can’t wait to hear what Yvette has to say about her tea trials..

Seriously how can you not try a tea that has the word skinny in it. lol. I had this tea tonight and its not too shabby. I could taste the cinnamon and the chai which are two of my favorite things. This tea is not one of my favorites, but it is one that I will drink again and I think will grow on me more.

I had tasted this mixed at Teavana and have been drinking the mix for a while. I finally decided to try it by itself today and it was heaven. I love the way everything blends so well together. It is such a wonderful taste and the cinnamon is the icing on the cake. It’s so sweet and relaxing and reminds me of a great fall tea. I’m not sure if I will do the mix anymore or just drink it by itself now. This tea is AWESOME…

I thought this tea was ok. I ordered it accidently instead of a normal earl grey. oops. It was okay but I actually liked the roobois blend I had better. Next time I will order the right earl grey.

I had this tea this afternoon and I really like it. I find that I am liking a good black tea and it doesn’t need a lot added to it.

I had this tea this morning on my way to work. I love sweets and sweet things and this wasn’t as sweet as I thought the cinnamon would make it. The next time I make it I will add more heaping teaspoons to see if I like it better.

This was recommended to me as making a pot of iced tea since I am a big iced tea lover. I brewed the pot and of course had to make a small glass of iced tea immediately before putting it in the fridge and I must say that I really like this tea iced and it tastes so much better than the usual Lipton I used to make for Iced tea. Was dying to try and earl grey tea I had ordered but with the time of night decided to go with the Rooibos Earl Grey since it doesn’t have any caffeine. I found the tea very light and refereshing and now I can’t wait to try a true earl grey.

For all you tea lovers I hate to say this, but I was recently introduced to tea by a friend I work with. Before having “real” tea, I was a celestial seasonings junkie and didn’t know there was a difference between it and loose leaf tea. My favorite tea of all time was Sleepytime tea so my friend recommended Foxtrot to me. I have to say that from the moment I opened the bag I loved the smell of the tea and after steeping it couldn’t believe how wonderful this tea is. I can taste all the mint and this tea is so smooth and relaxing. This is my new bedtime tea and I will probably be drinking it daily. Thanks so much Brandice.

I just received my Adagio order tonight and was very excited to try this tea. I did find this tea enjoyable and will have it again. I could really taste the cinnamon coming through. I’m finding I really like cinnamon in my tea. I’m still new to the tea tasting so take it for what its worth.

I have been drinking this tea now for a week and I just love it. The way the two teas blend is awesome. I love the way the tea smells and it has a wonderful cinnamon and spicy taste. I will be a drinker of this tea for a long time.
