Bought this at both Wicked Fair and the Steampunk’s World Fair, and it’s a tea I’m always sure to stock up on. It’s sweet, malty, with a strong almond, cardamom and vanilla flavor with mild notes of rose. Takes sugar well, but I find it a little too weak for milk.

I think my problem with this tea, is that I was hoping to add milk, to find that it would, for some reason, curdle. I suspect there’s something too acidic in this tea, maybe rose hips, that caused the milk to curdle. Other than that it’s a decent tea. Good with sugar or honey, but again, don’t add milk. It’s fairly sour, and not overly floral, which I wasn’t expecting.

This is a good tea, especially used in iced tea. The current flavor is quite strong, but not overbearing. Decent with sugar or honey, and not terrible with milk. Good as a breakfast or afternoon tea.

One of my personal go-to breakfast teas. Not quite as bitter as their English breakfast, but still full flavored and complex. The smokey flavors are very mild, and there are hints of malt. Takes milk and sugar well.

This is a fine afternoon tea, though not strong enough for me personally. This tea has a fairly strong bergamot flavor, then changes to floral. This tea takes sugar well, but might be a bit too weak for milk. This is a delicate tea, so if you like more delicate blacks, this is a good one to try.

If you like your full bodied black teas, this is your cup! This tea is full flavored, lightly sweet, and perfect with a dash of sugar and some milk in the morning. This might become my new go-to morning tea.
