9 Tasting Notes
Had a cup today! Pleasant aroma and a pleasant taste. Not too strong and not too weak. I had it plain and then tried another cup with honey. Tomorrow I will try a little milk, honey, and vanilla!
Had some of this last week. I like the square tin and the label is nice. It smells very good but the taste is a little bitter. I will try another cup not brewed as long.
Works like a charm!
Trilogy is my favorite. It could stand to be not so acidic and have a little more sweetener. I picked up a local brewer’s brand in Black Mountain, NC that was really good – Small company owned by 2 young mother’s called Kombucha Mamas.
Pleasant – I received this as a gift when staying at a friends house. My wife brewed some up and let it chill and it was even nicer!
We used this in a blend along with Hibiscus and black tea then cooled and added honey and orange juice. We called it Hibiscus Fruit Cooler! It was really good!
For an inexpensive Earl Grey, this os a good choice. Try brewing it a little strong, sweeten with maple syrup and add cream to it then let it cool and serve over ice. I know it’s different but it’s pleasant.
Maté Factor is my favorite brand of yerba maté. It has a fresh, green, healthy taste to it. Other maté on the US market is stale tasting. It is very versatile in hot and cold drinks. My favorite is cold steep it for 3 hours and add organic juice concentrate (peach, lemon, etc…) and a little honey or agave to make a refreshing, cold, natural, energizing drink!
