Been drinking this Bai Lin Gong Fu for a while now and i’m still enjoying it alot. Its a robust yet remarkable light black tea. Going try my 50 grams at a pretty rapid pace, but well thats a good and bad thing at once ain’t it!

For some reason this brew keeps surprising me in times with how many different note’s i can get out off it. Maybe because my tastebuds where a bit sensitive in the last weeks because i had 2 times a flu in a short time. But well… loving a good cup now :)

The second cup was a 5min brew and still pretty heavy on hibiscus. But i have to say the pineapple, mango flavors where alot more present in this cup! This would be a very refreshing infusion for on a hot summer day! The color off the brew was way less pink and more pinkish yellow!

Going to thank Bluebird once again for giving me the chance to sample these 5 or so tea’s! U can be pretty sure to receive a order from me in the near future, got a lot off good blends i want to try/drink again!

a very special name for this tropical blend with a very big load off ingredients… Its my last sample from Bluebird Tea so i’m going to enjoy testing this one out.

The small sample contains very big pieces off the tropical mix mentioned in the discription “Apple, Hibiscus, Rosehip, Mango, Papaya, Pineapple, Orange, Passionfruit, Corinths, Sunflower Petals”. I’m pretty sure most off them are in the sample but i’m not a hero in discovering all differnt parts when dry! It smells fruit like u could expect.

Making a cup with a brew time off 3min results in a very pink hibiscus colored cup. I don’t mind the hibiscus because i like it most off the time. So i’m going to let my cup cool down a bit so i can taste it!

I’m sipping now but its still a bit to hot to notice all the fruit, for the moment i taste loads off hibiscus. Like the other reviewer said maybe a bit to mutch off it in this blend but i’m not going to judge that until i finish the first and probably a second cup!

have to say i’m a little bit dissapointed in this blend due to the above facts… going to update this review when i drink a second cup later tonight!

First time i’m drinking a Bai Lin Gong Fu tea. The leaf reminds me a bit off yunnan and keemun leafs when dry with a nice full body smell to it.

I’m brewing a 3min infusion that gives a nice dark colored infusion. In taste i can compare it with the above its nice and strong and somewhat reminds me of the russian caravan blend that has yunnan and keemun leafs in it. Its not very malty but u can taste some malt and the creamy taste they mention in the discription is there to. Very nice black tea for the price i payed for it! Going to update this note or make a new one when i brew more off this!

Totally nutty sounds nice with its almond and cinnamon flavors, its got a black and green tea base… but i didn’t know that until after i brewed my cup and looked it up to put this review in. So i possibly brewed it with to hot water because there was green tea in it…

Ah well the dry leaf smell heavy cinnamon like and the blend looks tasty to! Brew color is a bright brown liquor. Still smelling strongly like cinnamon but i’m noticing a other good smelling thing to (not sure how to call it or what it is exactly), its a fresh blend u can tell that.

When the cup is cooled enough i’m trying some sips from my brew. First thing i notice is the black ceylon base that is soft but very present. I’m not sure i’m tasting the green tea thats in this blend but i don’t really mind. The almond is very present but not overwhelming and the cinnamon supports it a bit. I’m liking this tea and i’m pleased that i had a chance to try a sample off it!

A black/green tea blend with a twist to keep a refreshing eye on tea very well done!

been drinking tis again in the last few days, i’m appreciating it alot more now. Have to say this is a very very forgiving tea and thats unusual for a black. I totally forgot about my teapot when i was brewing the tea. After 15min i got my first brew out and it was still not bitter not to strong… i was surprised it tasted like a 5min brew!

my third time tasting a sample and being the first to give a quick review of this tea!

All things nice, sure sound nice! Jasmine flavored white tea combined with liquorice root lemongrass and cinnamon. I like alot off the ingredients. Being a white tea i’m going to brew this with 80°c water and for about 3min.

But first the dry leave look very appealing big chunks off that liqorice root and a lot off lemongrass/cinnamon and whole rose its a nice blend!

When i brewed it the first thing i’m noticing is the cinnamon smell and the vibrant lemonade like green/yellowish color. Upon letting this tea cool down a bit i’m tasting first and all jasmine flavor combined with cinnamon. The lemongrass isn’t in the face but its there in the background. This tea is very very sweet probably because off the liqorice root (in the discription they say its sweeter then sugar) and its true… maybe its even a bit to sweet for me!

Its a special blend that any white tea lover needs to try, its got alot off different things going on all at the same time. So its a bit hard to understand this tea, but thats a good thing… my personal opinion is positive but i’m not sure if i order it again due to being a bit to sweet to my taste…

i had a second cup off this one later in the evening but forgot to mention this in any off my notes. The second cup was orange/yellow in color due to the hibiscus stopt giving the pink color. It was a very sweet and fruity cup, i even enjoyed the second brew alot more then the first!

once again i’m the first to review a tea from Bluebird Tea Company! I’m very curious about this one Skinny Minny, funky name for a very cool looking blend. Puerth and oolong combined? Ginseng and ginger with fennel seeds and orange peel? Woooh thats loads off different stuff! i like cooked puerth, i’m in love with oolongs, i love ginger in my tea… very curious indeed!

Brewing the whole tea sample for 3min with near boiling water. The brew is a nice dark brown liquor. I’ve got a hard time smelling this because i’m still suffering from a cold. So i’m going to skip the smelling part…

Anyway onto sipping the cup. While its still to hot to get subtle notes i can clearly notice the ginseng because it got a distinct taste (if you ask me, not sure how others think about it). When its cooled more i can find the orange taste, the ginger and whats probably the fennel seeds (never had fennel in my tea i think).

The oolong and puerth base for the tea is exellent in flavor. This skinny minny almost taste like a good chai and thats a good thing! I’m very mutch enjoying the first cup, going to do a second brew in a while!

Looks like i’m the first to review tis funny named tea Retro Ted!

Seems like this blend is made up out off many fruit ingredients like coconut, orange, pineapple and alot off lemongrass and hibiscus. The smell of the dry ingredients is very sweet and fruity. So i’m going to brew a cup for 3min with near boiling water.

The color off the brew turns out the be a pink/red like liquor and still smells great! My first few sips are when the tea is a bit to hot, but it tastes very sweet. my taste buds can seperate the hibiscus and lemongrass pretty good but the sweetness really comes from all the other fruits in there.

A very nice cup sweeter then i expected but then again i’m not used off drinking alot off fruit infusions. This is infact why i so appreciate to be able to sample 5 different blends from bluebird company. If the other samples are just as good then this one i’m going to order there for my summer fruit blends!
