Adagio Has Mate!

Just a head’s up, Adagio now has mate, and is giving 4 samples with every $19 through the end of the month. I don’t know if you have to click through their Facebook page to get the deal, or if it’s always there, though.

I just placed a $14 order this week, which was still on my lap when I saw this… c’est la vie.

is the mate pretty straight or is it the mixed/flavored types? Does anyone know of a good/easy mate importer? I really don’t like the mixed stuff but my friend from Argentina always has delicious straight mates she brings back, and I have no idea how to get those in the states!

If you go to their website it states that they have 6 flavors:
yerba mate (untoasted)
toasted mate
citrus mate (green)
mocha nut mate (toasted)
spiced mate (toasted)
mango mate (green)

I haven’t ordered anything from them yet and haven’t even looked at their mate selection, but as soon as you say importer I think Upton Tea Imports.

gauchogourmet.com sells most of the major brands from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, etc. My favorites from Argentina are Cruz de Malta and Rosamonte!

You needed to click on the Yerba Mate link in their Facebook entry – or at least that’s what I did – and then the free samples shows up in your cart.

What brand are you interested in? Some health food stores carry them. I found Guayaki at my local Green Acres. You can also order online.

In order to receive the mate samples, you need to click on the facebook, twitter, or email link. Otherwise the website does not know to add it to your order.

yea so i guess they’re all flavored except their basic? I mean, i guess i’m not looking for different flavors so much as the different brands they have in argentina. it seems like all you can find here is guayaki…
