Where to buy a matcha whisk stand?

I’m looking for one that is pure white (more grey undertones than cream), ships to Canada for a reasonable price, and is reasonably priced itself. If it takes a long time to arrive that’s totally okay.

I found one cream coloured one on Aliexpress, which is close but not quite what I’m looking for. Every other site I’ve looked at only has coloured ones, mostly celadon or jade.

Has anyone seen what I’m looking for?

I know that do-matcha carries them: http://www.domatcha.com/product/

Also, if you live close by a whole foods, I know that our local whole foods carries them. I don’t know if that’s true of all whole foods, but true of the one nearest me.

This one might be what you want. If you choose EMS shipping it is fast. It was about four days to NY.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I’m specifically looking for one with a white glaze.

These two are the closest I’ve been able to find, but I’m not a fan of the crackle glaze, and the cream one is a bit too beige looking from the picture.

So yeah, I’m being super fussy, and haven’t found what I’m looking for.

Don’t settle. You will find what you are looking for. I’ll keep my eyes open for a non crackled white glazed one.

Thanks :)

If nothing turns up, I may just get the dimensions and put my potters skills to the test. Or commission one of my friend to make me one, since I’m godawful at using the wheel. Though I guess it could be hand built too.

LOL I actually know what you are talking about. :)) I just started a pottery class – I’ve been to 6 lessons. My first two bowls survived the first firing so they are ready for glaze and I have two small hand built trays drying. I was just happy to have actual pieces. You should make one yourself – I’m sure your friend would help if you needed it. :))

That’s awesome. I used to go to free pottery at Art City quite a lot, and got into it enough that I rented a space at The Edge for a bit.

I haven’t done any ceramics in a while but I should get back to it. I was making a lot of jewellery and tromp l’oeil sculpture for a bit and it was tonnes of fun.
