Tea Tag-pay it forward type-swap

Oh I’ve seen that on their site- purple!:) Vintage ‘97, good stuff. Is it a sheng or shu? Based on the appearance and description I’m guessing shu, but I hope I’m wrong.

I honestly don’t know the difference between sheng and shu, so I can’t tell you that. But it ain’t purple, either.

Sheng is raw pu erh, shu is cooked. Pu Erh is neither but in flavor shu could be more compared to a black tea while sheng could be more compared to a white, green, or green oolong. I’m massively disappointed it isn’t purple. :(

If I had to bet, it’s shu, then. I didn’t know it was supposed to be purple. I know the pic of the Orchid Oolong is purple, and the tea itself isn’t, either.

Oooh, yes please. Interested in David’s Tea Cinnmaon Heart (really cinnamon-y pu-erh) or about 40 grams (3 oz) of Britannia Bakeapple, a fruit-flavoured black tea from my local teashop? (A bakeapple, also called a cloudberry, is a bog-berry, difficult to pick, at once peachy and musky.)

Ooh can I claim the cinnamon heart? I’ve been drooling over that one but haven’t placed my David’s order yet.

I have 2oz minus 3teaspoons of Teavana’s new JavaVana Mate upfor grabs. It’s a mocha flavored roasted mate.

This isn’t really a swap from what I gather. One person offers something. The next person claims it and then offers something to be sent to someone else. (A offers, B claims and puts up a new offer, C claims and puts up another offer…..) It is a Pay It Forward…… I know this type of swap goes very well on another board I frequent. If you two want to go ahead and swap, I will think of something to offer get the PIF going…. I really don’t want anything in return, so I could easily come up with something. Let me know.
