I am so loving these blogs. That’s so brave of Michela to go into a territory when nobody spoke English and she couldn’t speak Chinese.

I wanted to zoom in on that photo of the street vendor to see what food was being served. lol

Are you sure, you want to zoom in? :)

That bad, huh? It looks good from afar.

And I just realized that I say “awesome” a lot.

As long as you don’t say “awful” a lot, that’s alright ;)

Some of the little cups looked so beautiful! There was a small, conical, Celadon one about 2/3 of the way down that was particularly lovely looking :-)

Yeah! :D I really like cups that shape, in general, but the colour and style of that was particularly nice.

It is the same cup Ubacat was referring to (see tread above).
Michela spent some time with this artist and eventually bought all the available cups like this; just 12 pieces. So 10 for our customers, as Michela and I will keep one each ;)

Ooooh, that’s exciting! :D Do you know how much you plan to see them for? Or is that to be decided later? (I definitely can’t blame you for keeping some, either! They look lovely. How much liquid do they hold?)

The exact prize depends on the cost of the shipment from China. It will in the order of 10-15 euro.
Each cup is completely handmade. We can offer this price only because we purchased it directly by the artist.
We didn’t measured the capacity yet. It will be in the range 50-80 ml (up to the rim).

If you wish, we can reserve them. Shipment is free for orders above 20 euro.

Hmm… That’s not too bad. I’ll think about it – many thanks for the info and offer! Just so I have a rough idea of timing, do you know roughly when they’ll be brought back from China? :-)

They are definitely beautiful cups. I will be interested in seeing all you have for sale when you have them up on your website.

Some teaware will be shipped overland, some other will come back with Michela.
Overland shipping is the cheapest, but takes 2.5 months.
With Michela, the cups would be ready to be sent to our customer in 4 weeks time.

Michela will travel tomorrow to Shanghai and start sending parcels to Europe. If you wish some cups, please let it know to me so that I can tell Michela to take those with her, saving time.

If I can get two for 20€, I’d love to get two cups. Please reserve two for me! :-) When Michela returns, I can finalise my order and maybe pick up some tea too :-)

Thank you for your interest in the cups, Fennekin.
I checked the prices with Michela. We can offer you two cups for 20 euro, but unfortunately we cannot include also the shipping cost. Shipping cost would be additional 5 euro.
If you order some tea, depending on which one, we might be able to take over the shippment cost.

Please let me know if you would like to buy the cups. I would send you a link in a private message to complete your order although the cups are not yet available for the public.

Yes, I think that sounds fair! I’m already following you, so feel free to follow and message me as you see fit :-)

I’m away until Friday, but I’ll be available to pay (and/or add some tea to my order) from Monday of next week. I hope this is acceptable! I really appreciate your service in allowing me to get an ‘early’ purchase on these cups!
