Anyone receive their free Tea Ave samples from September?

I received mine today! I got Wenshan Baochong, Lishan, and Alishan Jin Xuan, all light roasted oolongs. I’ve only tried the Wenshan Baochong so far and it’s very good.. fresh and floral. I like all the info there is on the packets. There’s a short description, origins, altitude, roasting level, oxidation level, cultivar, and brewing methods. The cup, smelling cup, and oakwood tray were a great surprise! The oakwood tray smells nice and looks very well made! The cups feel very smooth compared to some of my other porcelain cups. I can’t wait to see what their store looks like.

I AM FLOORED. INCREDIBLE. I can’t believe they sent not one but TWO sets?!? I am beyond impressed with the info they give about the teas on the sample packets, with the box, with the teaware, with their generosity etc etc. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a thing to come home to!

My samples: Oriental Beauty, Dong Ding, Ginger Lily oolong. I’m so happy with the selection. Also relieved I didn’t get Milk oolong (phew).

Mine came today! I just posted a note for Magnolia Oolong, and I also received Ginger Lily and Cape Jasmine. The pictures do not prepare you for what you get. The aroma cup set comes in a really nice box with foam so you could easily take it with you traveling if you wanted. The tray is monogrammed with the company name, but on the bottom, so if you don’t like displaying logos you need not worry. It doesn’t show. The aroma cup is so elegant! I actually already own a set of the very same tasting cups by the same company – I checked the logo on the bottom! I had purchased the cups a few years ago and later added some of the saucers. Now I want to get an aroma cup for each tasting cup, so I hope they also sell those on their website!

Generous and smartly, safely packaged products, with fresh, FRESH tea. I hope they do amazing business and stay around for a long time. Thank you, Tea Ave!
