NANNUOSHAN: Second part of the travel blog from Jingdezhen is online!

Read about the last days of Michela in Jingdezhen (the Porcellain Capital) and have a preview of the handmade teaware that she purchased for nannuoshan.

The blog readers can order the teaware before they will be available for the public. Just drop as a message if you would like more information on the items shown in the blog.

Love that gaiwan with the pretty bird! And the insect cups! Will you be selling any of those?

nannuoshan said

We will sell all of them!
Michela brought a couple with her to do the pictures for the product page; these few items will be available in the next weeks.
The rest was sent by normal mail and will be available in about two months.

If you are interested in ordering them now you might have the chance to get those already available!
Please contact me with a private message for the price and order details. We have not yet calculated the price of the new items. We do it on demand.

Tealizzy, I was going to ask about those exact items! I loved them both too.

Wow, all those gaiwans are gorgeous. But the two on the bottom are so unique.

Glad you like them! They caught my attention as soon as I saw them, as they were unique and different from the thousand of other gaiwan I saw in Jingdezhen.

Another excellent entry! Also great to hear about the Autumn TGY that Michela got to try – Autumn TGY does seem to have that intense flavour, with those wonderful orchid/floral notes. Such an amazing tea :D

Though I certainly don’t need any more cups (given the order I just made with you, and the number I have already), I really like the conical cups shown in the bottom-right photo of that large block of photos about 2/3 down the article – the ones with the brown rim, white interior and blue designs! They remind me of the Jingdezhen cups I have from Verdant that I love so much. Really beautiful teaware :-)

Thank you for your approval :-) It was my fist time in Jingdezhen…so hard to choose the right teaware to buy! There are thousand of porcelain shops in the city but it’s really hard to find those with a good quality-price ratio and a unique design!
And yes, that TGY I tried had such an intense flavour! So great!
