Herbal teas and Tisanes

I have just joined your community and am in need of directions, suggestions and advice….I have always loved green tea. My favorite for now is Marriage Freres Lune Rose which is a delicate blend of green tea, rose and honey……I am also partial to Numi’s Toasted Rice…..I would like to start enjoying herbal teas….could you steeperites recommend a website or a tea? not afraid of unusual combinations…I looked up Whispering Pines teas but they seem to be stronger in the green tea department…..also I just bought a clay teapot ( can’t spell the name to save my life)….what are the pros of owning such a delicate vessel?

www.lupiciausa.com has some good herbals. Simpson and Vail has one of my favorites, Cederberg Harvest Green Rooibos.

I am going to have to take a look at AllanK’s list. Here are some of my favorites at the moment:

Mint Verbena – Harney and Sons
Ginger Sage Winter Spa Blend – Verdant
Campfire Blend – Verdant
Lemmon Chiffon – Della Terra Teas
Rest Easy – Hugo Teas

Yunnan Sourcing – Buckwheat Tea

or
Harney & Sons – Soba Cha

I liked Lemon Myrtle from David’s Teas but it appears they are not selling it anymore. Not a lot of people take to Lemon Myrtle though. Some find it too strong.

Hmmm, I like several of the fruity tisanes (and fruity greens) from Tiesta – they’re fairly straightforward and inexpensive:

Good for when you’re feeling unwell (as long as you like ginger):

The Tea Sparrow subscription box usually sends two non-caffeinated tisanes per month (one rooibos and one herbal). Some of my favs:

Oh, and I like just straight peppermint as well.
