Does anyone know what kind of tea this is?

I got this tea from a friend when she went to China earlier this year and I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about it?

I can’t see the lettering or what is in the bag well enough to even guess. Can you do more photos?

With the big chunks of fruit in it and what looks like sugar crystals I am going to guess Eight Treasures tea (Ba Bao Cha)

I know they’re not the best quality of pics, but I’m hoping that helps some.

I think you might be right Amanda. I google’d that name of tea you mentioned and I think that’s what it looks like. I haven’t taken it out of the packaging yet, as I was going to wait until I make it up. Which, if it is that tea, I need to figure out some steeping times/water temps.

I usually brew mine for 4-5 minutes at a little under boiling :) It is pretty tasty stuff

How many ounces of water do you use?

for one package I use my bigger 8 oz teacup, though my mom has brewed hers in a mug and liked it, and I have gone smaller…just picked out a few of the sugar crystals…well, unless you want syrup ;)
