What should I order from Teaave?
I have my gift card for Teaave and a friend gave me some birthday cash (it is tomorrow) and said it is specifically for an order from them, since I posted on FB that I was going to order some tea and I had shared mine with her!
Of the samples they sent me, the Magnolia Oolong was my fave. I think I would adore the Jasmine Oolong. The Cape Jasmine was good, but I would like to turn up the jasmine a bit and I think that one would do it.
I love roasted oolongs, too, so I was thinking the Dong Ding.
Tell me which ones you loved most and think I should order! I plan to get the Al Fresco tray and maybe buy the tasting cup set for hubby, too.
I’ve tried half the line up so far – like the Ginger Lily Oolong and Tie Kwan Yin the most – the Tie Kwan Yin is the highest roast they have at the moment.
I am so intrigued by Rose Oolong, Jasmine Oolong, and Dong Ding, but now the TKY might be calling my name! Hubby wants the small mugs in Storm for his office. Any more recommendations?
I have the rose oolong, TKY, and Magnolia. I haven’t tried the rose oolong yet (save the best for last, right?). Even though the TKY was the highest roast, it was nowhere near smokey, just rich and nutty. I loved it, so sweet! I’ve been super impressed with both so far. I have a feeling Rose is going to be my fave, but I’m really interested in trying either of the Jasmines (since the bases they use are so phenomenal, and the flavoring well executed, I’m imagining something like Verdant’s Yunnan White Jasmine but on the tastiest oolong base I’ve ever tried!).
