Group Buy: 2006 XiGui Gushu Sheng Puerh from Crimson Lotus

We just kicked off a new group buy for a wonderful aged raw (“sheng”) puerh picked from ancient tea trees (“gushu”) in XiGui.

Our friends at Crimson Lotus Tea (http://crimsonlotustea.com/) are in Yunnan right now, and are starting to ship back some of the puerh cakes they’ve found on their trip.

They sell by the cake, so we’re selling by the gram — we buy the tea, then split it up and ship it to the people who participate in the group buy. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone to try these kinds of teas without having to invest in an entire cake.

Of course, if you want a whole cake, I recommend you buy it directly from them. They’re wonderful and very knowledgable tea people.
