Upcoming Dammann Freres group order
Ok, I shut my laptop down for the day but will update it again in the morning.
Work called and I had to get on my computer again, so I went ahead and updated it again. We are down to three holes, so we are close! It’s also good that we are falling under $400, so I can place it in two orders and hopefully avoid customs with each order.
Anyone interested in some of the Rose de Mai? I’m not sure if I’ll want all 100g of it!
Also, if anyone is interested in any of the ones that I’m currently signed up for 50-75g of, feel free to ask if you’d like to get in on it!

I don’t mind at all. It’s fun in a weird and twisted way! And, I’m probably uniquely set up to re-mail to people because I mail things from home all the time – I have a little side book business.
The spreadsheet is complete and there are no more yellow boxes. Yay!
I’m looking at placing the first order in the next day or so. I need to space the second one out so that we make sure they don’t both come in on the same day, since the customs email above said that could trigger duties on them. Is there anyone who feels strongly about being in the first order or the second order?
Once I figure out the two groups, I will create the first cart and let those people know the shipping split.
If others don’t mind, I would like to be in the first group if it means I can receive my teas before May 11 (I think it’s doable, right?)
I’ve got a mini-vacation planned for next month that I’d love to have these teas for! Not a big deal, but if nobody else has any preference then that would be nice! I imagine this would be tricky to do properly since all of us have pieces of so many various teas.
Since I still have an email about ingredients in the one tea. Please put that in the second order.
Hello all! I have the first cart made up, and it has all of Zach, MMM and Allan’s items in it. With shipping I can get it to come out to JUST under $200. The second order is going to come in over $200, just in case someone is waffling on a tea and wants to change your mind. I can leave one of mine off and it won’t hurt my feelings as well.
I also rechecked the exchange rates and updated the spreadsheet accordingly, it was a few cents more per tea.
Anyway, it looks like shipping from France will be $15 each time, so $30 total. Divided by 12 of us, it’s $2.50 shipping for that part (doesn’t include the cost to reship to you once it’s here).

:( I waited too long to jump in. I have the Citron Vert and it’s great. I also have the Coquelicot Gourmand and I like it but not as much as one of my friends. Whomever ordered those will be pleased! Enjoy. I hope I won’t wait so long to jump in next time.
Update, order 1 has shipped. I’d like to see it get to customs before I place the second one so we can be sure that they don’t go through on the same day. We’re still over $200 on the second order if anyone has decided against a tea. We need to pare down the total.
My problem is I’m tangled up in so many with multiple people so it would take having to convince like three people to chop a tea. KG Amore is the most expensive one on that second order (for myself), and I’m only splitting it with you, so if you’re willing to axe that one, I can too? But you’re not ordering much so I’d feel bad that you would have to do that.
Alternatively, I’m willing to axe Bougainville or Noel a Venise if TeaNTees or Roswell are also willing to, respectively.
You could take off the Puerh Guormand— I think that was the one with a whole bag to me— once I try the others and know better which teas I cannot live without ;) I will likely place an order just for me, so I can get it then. Marzipan, after all of the work involved you should definitely not have to drop one of your selections!
sren – if you want to try the Puerh Gourmand, I would be happy to send you what I have left of mine; it’s really not my style since I am not a puerh person. I think there is somewhere around 25–30g, but I would have to check.
I agree with Sren! Since you’re doing so much, and I also plan on making an order myself to get more, I’m cool with virtually anything of mine getting chopped providing the others involved in whichever tea are also willing.
