Teavana Question

Does the 10% off a pound of tea apply in store if you buy multiple 2oz teas? Looking to try some of their new tea blends and noticed a discount applied online, just not sure if I get that in store too. Also not sure if I want to deal with the staff, but that’s another topic!

Oh, also, how do the teas come if you order online? Are they in resealable baggies or the paper style bags that they use in store?

They come in resealable bags, or at least mine did. Which are you thinking of getting?

Good, I’m glad they come in something resealable. I’m looking to get: assam breeze, jinjaa citrus twist, cha yen tha, pineapple kona pop, lemon lime kampai, cocoa praline tart, blackberry mojito, javaVana mate and my favorite: Zingiber ginger coconut.

I think if I just want two oz of each, it may be easier to order online, as the store is about an hour away, but only half hour from my work. Although it would be nice to sample new teas, if they have them out to sample.

tell me how the javaVana is when you get it! I’m not a huge fan of Teavana, but their matevana was pretty epic to me, and I’m still as much of a sucker for coffee as I am for tea :P

Will do. It was a line about it being mocha like that got me. Mocha’s are too sweet for me but would love to have a mate version!

if you like mocha I would say try the Matevana if you haven’t already. It has a good cocoa, almost chocolate cigar-y taste to it. It sounds nasty in text, but it works out nicely :P

Ugh! I just got the email about the new teas… there are 9 I want to try. Definitely don’t need 2oz of each though!

Which ones were you looking to try? The ones I’m getting are above.

The only one on my list is the blackberry mojito- but I wish there was rum flavoring in it!

If I end up getting 2oz of each, I can let you know what I got and send you a sample teaspoon or two of what I got. I won’t need 2oz either, but I’m getting used to purchasing that way.

Awesome. I’m gonna be near a Teavana in Dec., but I really don’t want to come home from vacation w/ a 1 1/8 lb of tea. lol.

From what I recall it is an accumulation of teas to equal one pound. It doesn’t have to be just a single tea.

Yes, it can be multiple teas in 2 ounce increments that equal 1 pound. They got me good about 2 years ago. ha!

But, I’ve never ordered from them online. So I can’t help you there.

Why are their new harvest teas coming out in October?

Their teas traditionally come out in October.

I have ordered from them online and the teas come in a resealable bag and you can order a variety of teas at 2 oz and once you hit 1lb the discount comes off. Let us know how the new teas are when you get them! I want to get the blackberry mojitto next time I get into the mall.
