Well hello green tea lover. I too love green tea. I was that way before Steepster and even though I tried loads of other teas, I still love my greens. Why do I love greens?

The taste is so mellow. I think of greens as very relaxing , at least the Chinese greens are. Japanese greens have more kick.

My teeth never stain with green tea! :-)

So much variety with the greens too.

Lots of health benefits with green teas. I do not have high blood pressure , yet everyone else in my family does, even ones younger than me. The only difference is I drink loads of green tea.

I enjoy green tea morning, noon & afternoon. Not night because I am too sensitive to any caffeine at night.

Probably, I wouldn’t be able to breathe most of the night without green tea at some point. Other teas during the day or at night can help, but green tea keeps me breathing easily in the long run.

Green tea is my first love and what turned me on to tea in the first place. It’s light, delicate and just a very soothing drink. And the health benefits are an added bonus :-)

I drink green tea to pee more.

That’s actually a reason I drink puerh for!

This is SO true. Not why I drink it, but definitely a side effect!

I drink green tea, specifically matcha, because it makes me feel good! I can’t picture a day without it.

I drink Japanese green tea because i love it, not because of any health issue. (I only drink sencha & gyokuru & matcha).

Also love a green darjeeling now and then. Not very fond of Chinese greens.

Oooh, I have a green darjeeling chai blend in the cupboard, but it’s a little too lemongrassy for me. I’ll have to track down a unaltered green darjeeling now!

Japanese green teas are my favorite, they taste very fresh and vegetal.
I also like to drink matcha every once in a while.

Yes Ricardo, I think japanese green teas are my favourite too! They’re lovely and fresh. Have you ever tried any Taiwanese green tea?

I haven’t tried greens from Taiwan, only oolong and black tea. But I definitely want to.
Another green tea that I’ve never tried is Korean green tea, I wonder if it’s similar to the ones in Japan.

They are yum! Matcha was my first love, then I studied abroad in Kyoto and drank ryokucha, houjicha, etc every day. I loved the bitter, vegetal, buttery flavors. Besides Japanese green teas these days, I’ll drink a couple Chinese green teas, such as Dragonwell, every now and then because of their sweetness. The best ones are the ones that have just finished being processed in the spring.
