Great idea! I wish more tea companies would consider this (and ‘no’ Adagio, your switch to plastic bags isn’t more environmentally-friendly no matter how you try to spin it).

Well, I commend Samovar for their efforts – I think that more companies should do this – however, I must argue with this article, because Samovar is not the first company with compostable packaging, I know that Teatulia has had compostable packaging for some time now, and Arbor Teas also uses compostable packaging.

I am glad you mentioned some other companies that are doing this as well. I am a big Joy’s Teaspoon fan and I know they take great pride in their completely recyclable packing and storage materials.

It just seems right that tea companies would be leading the way in this task! :)
