Just found this home tool for grinding and brewing matcha:

What does everyone think of it?

That looks pretty cool and it says it can be used for many types of tea.

I tried it out at the World Tea Expo. It made me a good tasting cup of matcha.

It’s too pricey for me to ever justify, and I mostly would want it for evil experiments. Like Pu’er matcha.

Ooo evil experiments sound like a good idea.

It has a lot of potential as a tool for the kitchen, because you can powder any tea and use it like you would with matcha.

It seems like a unitasker to me. What happens if you use a coffee grinder to break down tea leaves, and then hand-grind in a mortar with a pestle?

Now, if they had a machine that pulled matcha shots so I could use that to make lattes, I’d be all for it. Only because whisking matcha for a bunch of customers all day starts to hurt my hand :(
