Who is drinking pumpkin tea? Any other fave fall teas?

I am on the hunt for a good pumpkin tea, myself. I used to love dellaterra’s pumpkin tea, but the base has changed and god only knows wtf happened to it. And try as I might, I can’t get into davids tea’s pumpkin chai—it feels like drinking tea through a bad cold, so there’s that.

But I’m definitely excited about making the switch to cozier teas!

I’ve been drinking Fava Pumpkin Tea this year which I like, but I’m not sure if it matches your preferences.

This thread inspired me to get a chai latte from the bakery across the street. Delicious, but at $4 I will need to be doing my own again soon!

I get that. I stopped in a local cafe this morning
For a Pumpkin Chai… But I would love to make my own at home.

I haven’t tried this recipe yet… but I will. Oh I will!

That looks delicious, but like entirely too much work…

I just tried it and it wasn’t that difficult to make using my frother in place of a blender, but it wasn’t very good either sooooo… nevermind! :)

I really am a sucker for pumpkin spice flavored things. I actually hoarded my Butiki pumpkin teas and am enjoying them now (though the flavor has, sadly, faded). I also have Harney’s Pumpkin Spice and Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Spice Rooibos (which I am 99% certain is the exact same tea) and DavidsTea Spiced Pumpkin (though I prefer the Pumpkin Chai). I’m actually quite disappointed in the DT Spiced Pumpkin; the Pumpkin Cheesecake last year was better.

What is the BEST Pumpkin tea to order?

As I type, I’m sipping on Teavana’s Pumpkin Spice Brulee that I blended with a creamier Dosha Chai. It’s like drinking pumpkin pie. I’m thinking of putting a special (Canadian) Thanksgiving post having to do with the Pumpkin Spice Brulee on my blog on Friday because it really is delightful. That said, the pumpkin flavour isn’t that strong so that’s why I like to blend it with my favourite Chai.

I am a huge fan of M&K’s Pumpkin Patch Spice. It is a green roobios based tea with butternut squash and pumpkin seeds in it. It seriously tastes like a pumpkin pie. One of my favs from them.

You had me until you said “green rooibos.” :P

Have you had green rooibos? I find it not nearly as bad as it’s red cousin.

That does sound good. There aren’t nearly enough green rooibos blends out there yet.

Anyone know of a super spicy chai circulating for the holidays? Bonus points for pumpkin elements, but not a necessity in this case. I’m tempted to make my own, but the work week is slaying me lately, and I just need a pick-me-up without expending too much of my remaining energy. Gonna make a concentrate and drink the hell out of it with some coconut milk.

Last year I got a very clovey rooibos chai and pumpkin black tea blend from Adagio, it was really tasty! Not sure if they have it this year again.

Trader Joe’s rooibos chai is very clove-heavy. Not to my liking, but it is strong.

I probably should’ve led with the fact that I’m not a rooibos fan. It can be in there, but not as the whole of the base for me. But thanks for the suggestions, you two.

It seems really hard to find a pumpkin tea that has a strong pumpkin flavor and a good balance of spices. I just ordered more of Stash’s Decaf Pumpkin Spice, which is actually pretty good, and works for me right now since I’m avoiding caffeine. I also like chai, spiced apple teas, nutty teas, and roasted barley tea in the fall.

I am drinking Plum Deluxe’s pumpkin spice tea right now. I love it. Their Autumn Orchard tea of the month was also really great. It’s one subscription I think everyone should try if you like blends.
