WHite2tea communication

What is the normal time for white2tea to respond to emails? I’ve sent 4 now with no response in the past 4 days. I’ve heard rave reviews about their service but I’m not getting the warm and fuzzies here. It’s about an order I placed. The holiday was over on Sunday so I was expecting to at least get a “hey got your email” email. I got nothing.

He’s on holiday vacay until Oct 5th http://www.white2tea.com/2015/09/26/mid-autumn-festival-and-chinese-national-day/

W2T is also in China, so he’ll tend to answer emails in the middle of the night for us NA folk.

In China everything closes for the Autumn holiday. The whole country takes a vacation of one to three weeks depending on the area. Sometimes the post office does not go back to work when the “holiday is over”. Sometimes it is another week before their workers get back and start things up. He will be limited in when he can ship. I’m sure his response is delayed because of the holiday.

To put the holiday in Western perspective. Imagine its the Christmas holiday, lasts for a week, but unlike America absolutely everyone celebrates religiously.

hahahah :) wish Americans did this… need some intense holiday spirit

Not surprising that he was away for the holiday. The whole country takes a vacation at the same time. It would never fly in a capitalist country. I suspect the only people who work the holiday are the Chinese military on the border with North Korea. Probably every one else goes on vacation.
