Della Terra Teas?

Is this company still around? I thought they were relaunching a website, but I’m not really seeing anything? I know a lot of people love their teas and I’m just curious what’s going on.

Thanks!

I found myself thinking the same thing the other day and began poking around. Apparently, you can order online here. They don’t ship to Canada, so I stopped looking into it further. http://dellaterrateas.wix.com/dellaterrateas#!teas/c12lb

Oops, they do ship to Canada and you message them to receive their shipping info.

I’d be interested in hearing how your experience turns out.

I think I’m going to wait for a bit before ordering and see if they have more come on the website.

I’ve also ordered from east indies tea company, which has been dellaterra’s supplier. I was expecting miracles, only to find that the base teas for some cult favourites had changed, so just keep that in mind if you do order from east indies.

What do you think is different about the bases? I haven’t tried any East Indies Tea Co’s teas, but I’m curious to what you think!

Thanks for that.

Their website does not seem fully functional. Either that or they sell only three seasonal blends.

I’m no expert at describing base teas, but I ordered a ton of grandma’s pumpkin pie, and I distinctly remember being able to taste the tea base before, and a ton of strong pumpkin pie flavour, whereas now, regardless of how I brew it, the whole thing is just a weak watery mess. I am finding a similar wateriness in other teas I’ve ordered from them as well.

Aw, that’s too bad as the Pumpkin was one of my favorites. I remember the old blends looked like it had dried pumpkin pie filling in it. Do you notice any of that in the newer blends?
