Emmett - YangQingHao tea group orders.
I have been working my way through some samples that I got from Emmett a few weeks ago. I have tried the 05 tsang liu, 05 yiwu chawang, 07 qizhong, 07 JinTuo, 06 chi hsiang gushu chawang, and the 2011 bulang. I am thinking about getting in on the December group buy, and after trying all of the teas at least once (and several of them twice), I have settled on the tsang liu. This was actually the tea that both Grill and Emmett recommended to me a few months ago, but I had to satisfy my own curiosity and try a bunch to decide for myself. I don’t know that I’ll ever develop a taste for aged sheng to the point that I prefer it over the young stuff, but I would like to have some on hand just in case. I also know that ‘tis the season for money to be a bit short due to non-tea related seasonal obligations. Well ok, some of them are tea related (White2Tea’s black Friday sale). Most of these cakes are huge at 500g, so I’m looking for a few people to go in on a cake of the tsang (it’s $175 plus some amount for shipping). If anyone is interested, please PM me. Thanks!

I’ll just say for anyone considering joining in that hasn’t tried the tea… This is a pretty darn good value and compares well with nearly all other pu’erh at the $0.35/g range.
I’ll plus 1 that recommendation and also how it compares to any tea in its price range. You won’t find one better
