Tea Brewing Guide?

Hello all,

Does anyone know of a good comprehensive brewing guide? I want to find one that I can print out and hang on my refrigerator. Would like to have most all types of tea with recommended amounts, brewing temperatures, and brew time. Thank you all very much… I know it has to be out there somewhere!

Blessings,
Katie

That one is general, not comprehensive- It doesn’t treat greens as individuals and doesn’t even mention Pu Erh or Yellow tea.

If you are into Japanese greens, these parameters rock: http://www.denstea.com/perfect_brewing.html

It’s a little down on the page, and I had it on my fridge! :)

Funny- as soon as I read the thread topic I thought “Well, it’s not comprehensive, but…” Glad someone else beat me to this! I even email them when I get a Japanese green they don’t sell and ask for recommendations on how to prepare it.

Here’s our “Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Tea” brochure in a pdf:

http://www.52teas.com/Everything.pdf

There is a section in it on how to brew a perfect cup of tea. We also have some iced tea making tips on our Southern Boy Teas site. Not all of it might be applicable to making tea at home, but there are some good tips included:

P.S. We also send out a printed version of our “Everything…” guides with each first time order. So… if you want some great tea AND something to hang on your fridge, you can check us out at http://www.52teas.com

That one’s good. That’s where I first learned Pu Erh isn’t a black tea:)
