What Ripe Are You Drinking To Keep Warm?

The weather is getting colder and I had a nice warming session with a tasty ripe pu’erh (A YS offering). So what are all the other PU heads out there drinking to warm up the body this time of year?

While not specifically to keep warm, I plan on drinking the Noble Mark Loose Tea from Mandala Tea a little later today.

Honestly, I bought $90 of ripe last month and the Green Miracle is winning so far which is odd because it was the cheapest and newest of all.

Second time I have heard about this one…off to investigate.

Just got my cake of the Green Miracle…its yummy. Very earthy like tree bark in the early steeps. Great ripe.

It has a nice texture too :)

The power of suggestion: this thread, the rain & chill, and AllanK’s Instagram post and now I’m drinking the last of my Noble Mark loose. Still on the fence about buying a cake though.

Clearly I am not awake… I went: “rain & chill? you mean, gongfu & chill”
but then I realized that it wasn’t a pun on the slang that American’s have given to the English language: Netflix & Chill.

Maybe my absurd thoughts will entertain others… regardless, I’m using gongfu and chill from now on :)

I’m still stuck on young raw, lol. That said I had an excellent ripe from w2t last night, the 2000 Orange Mark Shu. Very sweet and clean. Notes of earth and leather.

I’m drinking iced ripe right now, Lupicia Sunny Fruits. It’s 84f/29c in SoCal this weekend. Damn you global warming.

Ah those SoCal winters are rough….I spend my time between L.A. and Seattle. VERY different winters. Spending this year in Seattle for a change…wet and cool. Feels a little more like the holidays! Soak up some sun for me!!!

Still nursing a cup of Butiki’s 1989 Suncha blend. It’s so thick and brothy, perfect for freezing temps!

Since this a good one. I still have some of the one I got from you. @thelastdodo

Noble Mark from Mandala for me too. I’ve got a tong in the mail so I don’t have to ration my current stash any more. I’ve been enjoying the heck out of it!

I’m currently hitting the Phatty Cake II and Rama Lama Bulang from Mandala Tea pretty hard.
