12 teas of Christmas from 52teas

I got mine too! I was surprised, in a good way of course, but now I have to implement serious self control for 2 (!?) weeks!

I put mine up on the bookshelf behind my desk. A bit like the Elf on the Shelf – if I’m good I can open it on the first day. At least that’s what my niece (age 7) said when I told her what was in the box.

Mine’s here too! I put it in my pantry in hopes of forgetting, but then got worried and had to set a reminder on my calendar. I looooove the size of the sample packs. Just enough for a small pot, try it out, move on the next day. Perfect.

Apparently, my lovelies arrived today, yay! Unfortunately I will be a few days behind the rest of you (I had it shipped to my mother’s house where I will be visiting before Christmas, in case it didn’t make it on time). However, I’ll be on track as of the 18th, yay!

Almost time to open the first pouch! I’m super excited!! This is one of the few things I haven’t packed for the move. :)

Yep… tomorrow, I open the first pouch, so that I can write the article that will be published on the SororiTea Sisters blog (http://sororiteasisters.com) on Wednesday at 9 am! I’m very excited too.

Wait… you’re moving? I missed that somehow…

I’m looking forward to it!

Yup we bought a house and are in the process of moving in! Super exciting and yet also pushing my blood pressure through the roof. We’re over halfway there so the end is in sight!

Haven’t received my package yet – although I’m not too surprised – it always takes Canada Post longer during this time of year.

I was shocked that mine arrived a few days ago. I’ve never had a 52Teas order get here in less than 1 month.

I just got mine today Jill (in SK), surely yours will arrive this week!

I opened my first pouch a day early because I’ll be in surgery tomorrow and spending the night in the hospital.

It’s brewing now, can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of it.

Thank you for the well wishes.

I’m having a hard time sticking to my no food or water rule this morning because I want a cuppa tea so badly.

My boyfriend opened the first one today (we are in Korea so we are a day ahead) and he loved the whole “12 Teas of Christmas” and today’s tea! Yay! Can’t wait for everyone else to open theirs!

P.S. Thanks for taking the time with paypal and such Frank! (Paypal wouldn’t accepted my payment for some reason and Frank took the time to call them and then we figured out a solution!) Thank you so much! My boyfriend was so excited when he opened it this morning!

All went home and I just got home. Pretty much the first thing I did was open up my tea of the day. I’m too tired to go set up the breville yet but I’ve been sniffing it and it smells wonderful.

How’s everyone else doing?

I love my Breville… (yes, I realize that I’m sort of hijacking this thread, sorry), and one of the things that I love most about it is that I can set it all up, and then go take my shower or do something else, and the tea will be reading and waiting for me. I don’t have to get up as soon as the timer goes off. I don’t have to make a mad rush for the teapot so that it doesn’t over-steep. Seriously, this device has changed my life. I would recommend it to any one who drinks more than 2 or 3 cups of tea a day.

I thought I already asked this question somewhere, but I can’t recall any answer, so maybe I just thought about asking it…. I just got the 12 teas of Christmas (the advent calendar aspect was lost on my mom Haha) and I’m super excited to start trying teas! Especially since now I am free to open ALL of them (and really especially since a dry socket wisdom tooth has kept me off tea for many, many days :( sniff sniff) ANYWAY, my question is mostly for the Frank, but if anyone else knows I’d appreciate any info… so my question: being vegan, do I have to avoid any of the 12Christmas teas? A friend told me the first one was buttered popcorn (any real milk flavors?) And the one I just opened had chocolate nibs (milk free?). Please let me know if all 12 are suitable or which ones I should pass on to friends! Thanks!!!
