What-Cha Tea

Just received my second order (I loved everything in the first order) from them and really loving their tea and the great customer service and friendliness from Alistair who sent a lovely handwritten note with my order. Though I’ve mostly chosen my own stuff, I’ve again ordered a couple of their “mystery” selections which are priced right. If you are like me and enjoy trying new teas from various regions of the world, then they are definitely a great company to try. The first tea I tried tonight from this new order was the Georgia Natela’s Gold Standard Black. Delicious. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for the lovely words, it means a lot to hear you’ve been happy with both orders and especially so the mystery teas, as I’m always a bit nervous that they may not be to people’s liking :)

I have also had a wonderful experience. I especially value the availability of samples. I’m working my way through many from What-Cha right now and it had been so much fun.

Another big What-Cha fan here, and Alistair’s recommendations in the notes he puts in the orders have been spot-on for me. Lovely teas, and some incredibly moreish selections in the Discovery sets.

I am definitely on the What-Cha bandwagon and eagerly looking forward to another big order with them sometime in the coming months.

Kenyan Silver Needle is my favorite tea and very well priced. I really like the Satemwa Antlers and Nepal 2nd Flush Gold Tips. There are many other great ones. :3

I’ve tried teas from Harendong in Indonesia and Hatvala in Vietnam and those were very nice, teas they sell. These providers make a good example for why it would be possible for people to give up on black tea too soon, without trying a really nice version, since I really liked the black teas from both. Of course what I like and what someone else likes could be different, so there is that to factor in, not so easy to do, but a good black tea would be absolutely nothing like a mediocre English Breakfast tea blend. My favorite of what I’ve tried from those two is the Red Buffalo oolong from Hatvala, so it gets off that subject, but normal enough I really love both darker oolongs and sweeter, milder black teas.

This is really true and although I write mostly about puerh tea, I drink black/red tea every day as well.

I also really appreciate Wha-Cha for teas I can’t get anywhere else. I see they are out of Jeong Jae Yeun which is one of the loveliest teas ever made, my go-to for special guests. I’d buy from Wha-cha more except the dollar is not so favorable against the pound.
