Tea Trade - an online marketplace for tea

Cool! I’ve decided to sign up out of curiosity. :)

We’ve been getting a lot of email and excitement about what Tea Trade is so we’ve decided to setup a FAQ page explaining it. It’s kind of wordy, because there are a lot of parts to the Tea Trade concept that go beyond just buying and selling tea. We are also looking to build a community (not one that competes with Steepster, because we aren’t attempting to provide the service that Steepster does).

Anyhow, the Tea Trade project is pretty big and we are still hard at work on our e-commerce package, the beta will be available later in 2011 (Early to mid-Spring maybe?) As we get closer, we will be looking to gain support from bloggers, writers and smaller tea companies that would like to participate in the project.

Tea Trade is something that we are really excited about, we’ve seen a lot trends here on Steepster and other forums that people are looking at and we are hoping Tea Trade is the solution to that.

If anyone has any additional questions, we’ll be happy to answer them in this thread!

So we built a new landing page. Better looking and better information and just generally all around cool!
