Ingredient in night time tea

I know there is an ingredient that is used in tea that aids in sleeping. What is the name of it? I believe it is a sedative.

That might be it. When I was in Souvia the sales lady told me that one of their teas had it in there. I just can’t remember the name. I will look at there night time teas for that ingredient.

Thanks!

I just looked. It is in their ‘Good Night’ tea. Which is the tea that I liked, a lot.

Valerian in the only ingredient in teas/tisanes or natural sleep aids that works for me. If a “sleep aid” blend doesn’t have that in it, I don’t bother with it because I know it won’t actually make me sleepy.

Chamomile and vanilla are both very relaxing and I bet would both work well blended together.
